Which kind of wallpaper you better prefer??

Which do you prefer?? Abstracted wallpaper or a clean and nice wallpaper??
I ask this due that i'm seeing too many wallpapers that does not deserves to be published. they are horrible as pain, a pain for my eyes, and in the most of the cases people destroy the beauty of a scan or image.
So said that, i'm for the clean wall, vectorized or not vectorized. you can see what i mean if you see my favourites here :P
Feel free to write your thoughts, preferences or something else more hehe.
Me as too many people like to know what people like more.

I like abstract wallpapers--clean-cut ones arent that bad, but i have an affinity for abstract art. . . as long as it's not too weird

It really depends. I usually like clean wallpapers but abstract can be nice too as long as it isn't too cluttered and not just a bunch of brushes thrown together.
Hey...I am not sure about it.....Yea...Maybe I prefer clean and nice wallpaper...But, I think if it is too clean, I think it can makes the wallpaper looks plain than beautiful...

I prefer clean wallpapers, I believe in the saying "Less is more".

Clean looks better in my opinion but walls with too much brushing doesnt look too good to me.
Hmm, I liked clean wallpaper, in which people don't really temper the scan, to make it
some what a decrease in the scan quality. But again, I do not mind people tempering
those scans so that it fits to the perspective background. But sometimes it is needed
for the scans to be clean too...
So yeah, I prefer it to be clean. And with a good background. That's the whole point of
making wallpaper is it not? (well, in my opinion)
If you can just the scan pasted on a white sheet of canvas, that would not make any
problem hmm? I just feel a wallpaper has more vigour than a scan does, with
each wallers additional imagination in each wallpaper... I don't know,
I'm simply strange.. lol.

I do prefer clean wallpaper for my actualy wallpaper but I do like the abstract ones as well because those look really beautiful Its more like an art image rather than a wallpaper to me though because I really need to be able to see my icons and such on my desktop and I don't want to always have to look at something really abstract looking at my computer so definately I would like clean wallpaper for my desktop ^-^ I think they capture just the right scan and put it on the background to make it look wonderful ^-^

I am tired of all the stars and planets...so unless there is one with any specialty that makes it good, i decline to even view them at all...
I also dislike a lot of scenery ones, grass field + girl = win...
I find that tiresome to view, and those with over glittering ones are just too much, so yeah, pretty much abstract walls are my thing, preferably dark and really abstract, or even simple ones.

Clean and minimalistic. Looks modern, makes stuff easy to find, and fits in with skins.
Reading all of you, now i think that is very difficult to make a wallpaper for all the tastes. One thing i have totally clear, that if you put an beautiful chick, you win, despite of if you use abstracted thematic or not.

I generally only use very clean wallpapers, looking through my wallpaper rotation most are simple vectors of characters (or very good quality scans), on a single colour or gradient background.
I also can't stand text on the wallpaper.
