Do You Like Asians? *Their culture? Being Friends with 'em?*
I'm asian myself. But i'd like to know on your guys' opinion on what you think about Asians yourself. But you have to answer honestly ^_^. Maybe it'd be the culture...or food, or etc. You name it all. Becuz i'd like to know on what you guys think best! Please reply lots 'kay? lol.

I'm Asian myself too, so I can't say I hate them lol. Despite this, I still have a lotta friends that are white, and some asians too.
Interesting that when i posted this, it was directly under a "what do you think of racists" thread. I find that humorous. As for the question at be, asians breath the same air, under the same sun and sky as everyone else, nothing makes them better or worse than others :\
Plus the cultures differ so much... I have Chinese blood in me, and an interesting history behind it, but i also have a lot of european blood in me, so being a split makes it interesting especially since no one sees i have chinese blood untill after they meet my grandmother or aunt, going to show you cant judge the in from the out.

Enikad i think you are being too sensitive. Nobody is being negative here. Asian people are culturaly different as any other culture and the question is of how much do you appreciate the culture. People like you need to stop the whole heat of racism. Or it won't go away. No one is being racist or judgemental. "Thoughs who point one finger, have 4 more pointing back at themselves". Savor that.
PS. I have an extreme fetish for asians! What can i say, your my weakness!

I like asians and make friends with asians just the same as I like and make friends with whites, blacks, hispanics, etc.
Most asians that I know are really easy-going people. And I think that the best friends I have made here (Melbourne) are asians. >_<

Well, most of the asians are being brought up carefully by their parents.. therefore, they are not as open-minded as compared to the europeans..
But asians are very adaptable in living other countries and they can mix well with other races.. that is what i think...

I have nothing against Asians being an Asian myself.
I love the asian culture. The way they do things and the the history. Everything is pretty beautiful to me. I don't have any asian friends though. I've met a few cool people though. I would love one day to go visit Japan.
I am Half Thai and live in Thailand now and to learn the Thai Language as good as I can...
Well from my Point of view about Thailand...
Cultural Aspects:
-You cannot treat a Girl or women like Western Girls, especially not touching them, just like this...
-Most Thai People have a lot of difficulty to learn English and to pronounce the words correctly. I must know because right know I am an Assistant Teacher at my Cousin's English School. Thus many Thai people are very shy when speaking English.
-Thai People are much more modest than any European in the world
-Family plays a major role in Thailand. And how. Thai people are veery devoted to their families and older people. They have so much respect to the elders.
-I don't know about Japan, but I've heard, there too people are ashamed to speak English.
-Japanese people who work in the Anime and Videogame Branch work more than 24 hours, I've heard and read in several Japanimation Magazines, but the people there show a lot of Spirit...

I'm italian. My first approach with asian colture was about manga and anime. Then I started interesting to asian culture, and I started watching films and this kind of stuff produced by asian people (Hero, croching tiger,Hidden dragon, Shaolin Soccer, Samurai seven...) in the near past I tried to study more about asian culture, as way of life, tradiotion and so and so... but I never had occasion to meet asian people (except for a couple of Thai boxers...) So I really could not say if I like them or not. But I really want to have a trip in Japan, for sure. Maybe I will be able to know them better after that trip. More or less one year ago I started cooking as semi-pro, and I found asian food really good. (the best I ever eaten was sushi, and the best I ever cooked was Cantonese rice... it was really hard to cook, I though It could be easier)... so from food-point of view they are ok!

Well, most asian are great to be friend with. I also have alot of asian as friends, they really are friendly and some of them are quite sensitive and also quite. All we need to do is just respect each other and the relationship will go smoothly. You really learned alot from asian friends, especially about their culture.
