I always offer at my place, and i usually ask at friends places sometimes if i'm hungry ^_^;;
although it doesn't really bother that much if they are eating and i'm not lol

some people, they just eat in front of you and didn't ask you if you want it or not..
that's just rude..

Yea I feel really awkward when Im eating but others around me arent. Our family always emphasizes eating together at mealtime. Everyone MUST eat.
Never really thought about it, really close with my friends so i never have to ask, i think we just randomly show up to eachotehrs houses and chill, or sometimes if i;m out with one person and we;re near an other friends house, we just stop by raid the fridge and leave lol, even if we;'re out we usually get different dishes and like eat off eachothers plates without asking, or flipflop plates,
mw get angry when someone asks, kinda like "known you for this long and you still need to ask??! wtf is wrong with you!",, just lucky i guess, but i think people should have enough maners to offer, AND ask, unless specail conditions like mine :P

It is rude but it is also rude to stare at there food and if your hungry just ask its not like they can read you mind ^^
Well, it really depends on the person actually. My mom said not offering food to those in front of you is a bad manner. (somehow, I feel uneasy saying that. It feels kinda lame. Bad manner.) ehehehe.^^ I don't know if she's right or not. I followed her anyway. I offer food to others..but only to those I know. Of course, I wouldn't offer to strangers!!
Sometimes, I eat while walking and of course I couldn't offer food to others.o_O anyway, when oine is hungry.. one should go buy his/her own food. It's not right to always parasite someone, really. That's more annoying.

Personally I feel really bad eating in front of someone and have them looking at me eating.. XD; so I'd always offer them some, or share. 
I don't really mind if other people share with me or not but i find most people do if it's something really yummy anyhow so it all works out. XD;

Oh yeah... I hate it, but I'm not gonna complain if they don't share. I usually do though, cause do unto others I guess...
the point is, if you and your friend are hungry and you only get for you, share the dumb sandwich or whatever... don't make em suffer

I don't necessary hate it but if I'm hungry I would have the nerves to ask if I could have a piece. If the person gives me back a negative response likely I would take the person's food and trash it. Then neither him/her or me can have a bite. >D

Hm I wasn't hungry though that time, but it looked so good ='( . I knew this popular girl name Autumn. And I was walking her back home and she was taking out something out of her bag and it was this DELICIOUS LOOKING FRUIT SNACK. And she was just eating it by herself. So selfish T_T;; She didn't even ask if I can have some... she just ate the whole thing. I was like "WOW... selfish" in my mind^^;; haha.
Well I wasn't hungry that time so I didn't ask her if I can have one. If I was hungry, I would've asked haha^^... well not all the time. It's kinda rude to ask too o_o;;

I can't say it bothers me a lot but I just think that I let person decide himself/herself if she/he wants to share, I hate making people do things and especially I hate making people feel guilty. Yeah, which happens not often..
I can say that I hate eating myself without sharing...lol..I just can't do that, espacially when I know that a person wants it..so I just share..lol..

I could never take someone's food even if I'm dying of hunger & he/she doesn't ask me if I want some...
I just can't... It happend to me once but I didn't say anything, I usually eat once a day & I'm not hungry, but that day I forgot my wallet at home & I almost fainted because I didn't even drink water & one of my coleagues looked kind of like "A PIG" while drinking juce out of a 2.5 l. bottle & not sharing it with anyone... =_=
