This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

I was inspired by other thread to make this thread, what are the games of your childhood?
Mine are mortal kombat, micro machines, the first sonic… all this games for the mega drive, great times I had with that console, I’m a sega fanboy.

Hehe, I was a (Super) Nintendo fanboy, and I remember having all those "debates" with my friend who had a Genesis at the time. Fun times. =D

What did I remember most? Super Mario World, Starfox, and the obscenely difficult Super Ghouls and Ghosts. And for the Genesis, the somewhat less difficult but still sometimes frustrating Sonic 1, Vectorman, General Chaos (fun!), and an odd game called Pete Sampres Tennis, which actually had two extra controller ports built into the cartridge.

I really enjoyed playing arcade games ...
They were so fun and i never have enough of them !
Even now, i still play with them !

They are from an Atari 2600 console : Galaxian, circus, ...
And from my commodore 64 which is still working !

Now, i get so bored of a game the time i've completed all levels of it ...

The games of my childhood (which I've only left) were Chrono Trigger, Maximum Carnage and Mega Man 7. Real cool stuff. Of course, Super Mario World was my all-time favorite. I was a SNES kid.

WOLFENSTEIN 3D! that game scared the crap out of me though...

yes! that game used to freak me out too
childhood games..mmm...there are a lot, Doom, Lemmings, Mario games on NES, the first few Zelda games on N64 and Gameboy Colour, Pokemon games
and...2 games you should all know xD
Tetris and Pong! x33333 (yes...that's right, we're all familiar with Pong, that little simple computer game with 2 paddles and a ball moving from one side of the screen to the other, simple, but can be very challeneging x3)

I remember that the first game i ever played was Super Mario Bros for NES...it took me months to finish it:P and a game that is a shoot-em-all, in where ducks start to fly around the screen, and you must kill them with a special pistol made by nintendo to that specific game...and when you kill them, a dog appear as they land:P i got a lot of fun with it hehe!...well that are the only games i remembre for now >.<
