APPLESEED!
A new movie and series is coming out this year I here. I don't want to raise my expectations too high though. :( But I can't wait! the Appleseed scan of the new one looks really amazing! awesome stuff. more on appleseed! yay!

Well, the Manga is voluminous enough (4 Issues if i recall correctly) to refine it into a complete series (12+ episodes) anyways

The one and only one good thing in appleseed (2004) was animation, story was really week, characters was flat (the robotic one was more funny than serious)

My brother is a great fan of Appleseed and I did tell him about it when I found out about it (he was pretty excited). The title sounds pretty pimp though, Ex Machina right?
I remember watching the movie from way back in the day but haven't seen the one from a couple of years back (though I'd like to). In any case, looking forward to it. =)

That would be great. The movie was fantastic and if they put out more material of that caliber I will get it for sure.

as we begin the third act.

I will definately have to take a look at this. Appleseed was one of the very first anime I ever saw. (Battle Angel Alita was the other.) It will be interesting to see the differences.
