Why did your parents put you that name???
OK, let's talk about this.
Recently, I´ve been asking me why parents give you the name you have now.
My name is Franco Martin, but dont use martin. My father named me Franco because a singer of his favourite group and my mom puts me Martin 'cuz Saint Martin de Porres.
Now I know a lot of whys of the names of my friends but... What about you?
In my opinion, some parents are a little crazies about the names

I think there's no special meaning in my name
I wish i knew why my parents decided to call me Mary. Nooo idea, but seeing as my parents are christians i thyink they just chose my name from the bible....whcih is sad because theres so many nice names out there from the bible, rebecca, hannah anyone? But no...they named me mary ><,
Cassandra... Is the name of a princess who foresaw the destruction of Rome and was murdered in a jail cell... T_______T.... I have NO idea why they named me that...

My name is Matti Henrikki (weird, I know, I'm Finnish). Matti was the name of my grandfather, and it's the name I don't use. I've no idea about the other name, though I wish they'd settled for Henri, it's much more common a name around here.

My name is Isidro Lorenzo, Lorenzo being my middle name. I was given Isidro as my name from my father, who got it from his brother(Whose name is Isidro). He committed suicide at the age of 21(before I was even conceived). Scary thing is that I look exactly like him. My other name comes from my other uncle who baptized me, though I don't consider myself to be Catholic anymore.
I was named after my grandfather, who was named after his father (killed at the Somme), who was named after his father... all the way back to some random ancestor who was a bosun (in charge of a gundeck) on HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. There's the bosun's pipe and an every accumulating number of heirlooms that get handed down through the family to the relatives of the same name.

The reason why my parents give me the name is cause I am the youngest of the sons, it marks the king to become great, meaning the last of the ones to become great.
Nothing else.
speaking of which, they probably given me that name cause I am considered the most valuable among the family, consider I have 2 sisters... you know, chinese families, the male is always superior to the female.

May name is Kris but my mother wanted to call me Clif. My dad liked Kris more so my mom agreed somehow. But people call me Clif or Kris I respond to both of them.
More brains more problems!
