Too much additions to the anime
I know many agree , if youve read the manga already , you noticed that the anime is taking ... wayyyyy to long with its progress , Too much pointless scenes and additions making it impossible for us to imagine even the anime getting to Team Hebi , let only where the manga currently is
any thoughts on this ?

It is really ridiculous especially for something that made so much crappy filler to give itself a gap, I mean why drag it out then? The manga is so far ahead of the anime it's mind-boggling. By the time the manga finishes the anime might be showing Pein vs. Jirairya.
I'm pretty much losing interest in the anime now. Might tune in and out to see what some fight scenes look like.

At this rate they probably wont even make it to then , probably Deidara vs Sasuke if were lucky
By the end of year I'm sensing Naruto just may have got halfway through his training! ...

It really is getting ridiculous i mean by now im sure they can speed up a little at first i thought they were trying to give the show and epic atmosphere now i see what they were really doing was to give you that idea so you wouldn,t notice the show is going at a much slower pace and make you think there going deeper in the character's thoughts and actions
I don't really follow the anime that much anymore, just the manga. Nonetheless, I agree that they shouldn't stretch it out as much as this. They probably do it so that the anime don't catch up to the manga soon as it did in the previous series; that's why they made all those fillers. However, I guess what they are doing now is pretty much the same ><"
Is it really such a bad thing that the anime isn't progressing that fast? Of course they shouldn't drag it along like that, but in my opinion, if they don't want to catch up to the manga quickly they shouldn't add so much additions and such that nobody here wants, instead I think they should concentrate on more quality (I'm talking about things such as adding more detail to the animation, the artwork, the background and the motion of sequences) for each individual episode to witch it will then take longer to make.

It doesn't even feel like it's trying to pace itself out from catching up with the manga because I mean the manga is miles ahead now so there's no real reason to go at a reasonable speed. But when you have like... 5 or so episodes on just Naruto vs. Orochimaru and it's dragged out on reactions from pretty much everyone and differing characters saying the same thing someone else said about the fight just a few minutes ago.
Oh yeah then there's that stupid 5 minute recap thing they always do at the beginning of the episode. So 5 minutes recap, 2 minute opening and you're already 7 minutes into a 23 minute long episode (minus another 4 minutes for the ending credits and preview for next episode) and you really have a 13 minute long episode of little-to-no progression. Which is why I look forward to hour-long episodes, you know you get *somewhere* in those.

Just be happy that there aren't like 50+ fillers polluting the Shippuden series.

Ah, good times.

Well, it's been a while since I have read the official chapter in which Naruto and Sasuke met for the first time sincce their last battle. Indeed the Anime added some sequences like for example the clone Battles for Team Guy. I checked in the Manga that they didn't have such a battle in there, only Anime version...
Another one is quite new to me,... it seems like there weren't any sequences in the Manga in which Sai and Naruto rested together and talk about Sai's older brother showing Memories in animated version...
Well at least the last fill-ins were quite interesting, unlike the two episode special from a few weeks ago...

The last 10 episodes have been comprised of either sparadic fighting, endless conversations in which the characters state and restate the obvious, conversations regarding Sai's notebook, and pretty much spent our time looking at the pretty circle design on the walls of Orochimaru's den. I certainly hope the anime starts moving along a bit more, I am so over the current arc.
Just reminded me of a great example of the anime dragging out events, Kabuto walking down that corridor as Team 7 made their way to get Sai and started talking to Sai. I mean how many times do we want to see Kabuto walking down the same corridor?

I havent read the manga, but the anime looks good currently tho.
It's true that the slow pacing gets really annoying after a while, but it's a choice between either that or extended filler episodes, which IMO are much worse than a bit of dragged out fighting.
I'd say they can easily get further story-wise without worrying about catching up yet. They could drag out Naruto's training regime if they thought they were catching up too fast but there's no point in dragging out this Sasuke thing because even the Team Hebi bit is going to take like 30+ episodes.
