This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

You see much more violence and corruption then you did when you were little , Kids these days are changing , they care about material possesions at such early ages , there attitudes already fit those of a high schooler , like when i was at work , cashiering , i noticed a kid backtalking his mom , i dont think ive seen anyone do that when i was his each , i wanted to give him advice like respecting what hes got but i didnt want it to sound like i was offending the mom for having him raised that way

When i was his age it was pretty peaceful and fun , there wasnt any gangs that i knew about or worrying about fights and social rankings

Today i see everyone grouped with certain people , nerds with nerds , asians with asians , preps with preps , etc

its getting alot more violent whenever i walk out , most the the time its involving a black person who thinks he's god

no offense to any black folk out there reading this , its just what i see most

havent any of you noticed things like these ?

Yeah, I certainly have, that's for sure. It's completely different in comparison to before, even about 10 years before, as a kid you went out to play in the garden, today? a kid who goes in elementary school has a mobile phone, a girlfriend, pretends to be tough etc. Even in my school, upper secondary school, those who started last year are only bringing noise. They run through the whole school playing games, talk behind your back, sit the way they want, play music loud etc. Rather in which language you tell them to stop behaving the way they do, it's not much of a help, I wonder why? Why has it turned out this way? then I hear some of my teachers telling us that we are the future, which we are, but what kind of future do they expect if we behave this way?

Nope, nothing really changed here, I just didn't notice it when I was little. Kids act like kids, teens act like teens and grownups act like grownups, it's always been the same here as far as I can remember.

It does change,a lot.Even at my young age,I realize that.Elementary students these day already know how to swear, talks very bad language and have something that they shouldn't have...Is it the child's fault?yes.but,is it the parents fault?yes too.Any elements will affect a kid,but if the parents have good control over them,if the parents truly care(not only giving money, but also looks after them, these days,no offense,I see a lot of parents that can't raise their child rightly, they're too busy with their own work, this actually happens mainly to rich family where the parents often works out of town, not enough care, not enough attention...its sad to see it)then the kid too shall grow a fine person. No,im not saying to use hard and violent method to kids, that will makes them grow into cold blooded persons. But if only the parents pays real attention to their kids, control them,it wouldn't happens. The generation of kids these days is already in critical phase,as Tifa988 said,we're the future, young generation that will lead the world, yet,im really afraid of what the future will be like.

God have mercy on us all.

I also noticed these things but didn't really bother to really care about them, but yes, I'm also seeing these things. It could be the way the parents raise their kids, lots of parents these days, especially younger ones, don't really show much respect and are mostly informal. If you put a bunch of kids together that have those kinds of parents they seem to thing it alright to swear in kindergarten. Don't forget, lots of kids (little kids at that) play more violent video games now, maybe because their parents don't give a damn and maybe because games these days are everywhere. Television and the Internet could also be affecting them.

I'm a high schooler, but I can see what you're talking about.

The middle schoolers and elementary school kids are completely different than what I remember being. For starters, they have no idea what respect is. I'm a pretty obnoxious person, but it's all in good fun and my teachers and such appreciate the humor.
These kids are just downright rude and need slapped as hard as I was when I acted like that.

It's ridiculous.
And there's no need for a kid that's 8 to have a cell phone. I don't even have a cell phone, and I don't need one either.

Yeah, society is definitely changing. in the last generation (from what my teachers/parents tell me), it was like forbidden to say swearwords on tv and stuff. now you hear much, much worse and a lot of other unmentionable things.
i think because of the material in tv and books and magazines that are published, society is starting to become more...rude, i guess. you see little kids with an attitude? now that's scary.

Society changes, but corruption and violence has always been there. When you were a kid you might have lived in a more protected environment, you can't say that things have gotten worse now. I mean, go to young adult in Eastern Europe and ask them if society was better for them when they were kids, I highly doubt it since those countries were involved in bloody wars and are just recovering from it. Sure many areas have degraded, towns, cities, etc... heck, my old neighbourhood is a shadow of what it was before, but there are many good things that came along with those changes. The issue is that everyone focuses on the bad things, yet few focus on the positive things.

I live ina good area but kids are getting worse and worse
until i was like 13 everything was fun, sex was like cooties(ewww), no real fights, verbal language was like SUCK IT
kids now that age are insane tho.. getting drunk, smoking, racists @$$holes, cursign like crazy (my lil cuz was sayin the n!gg3r and f@go7 like crazy {no offense to anyone out there}, i was like dam kid... but one thing i really hate is that give no one respect not their parents, their sibling, strangers, friends, no one. they need a old fashion parent beatign like back in the day like i had.

Yeah, I've noticed this.
I think it has to do with how parents were treated and because of it, wanting to spoil their children.
If they didn't want to spoil their children then maybe the pressure of their kid saying "But jimmy has an xbox! Why can't I?"
It really sucks, people these days are just way too materialistic. I mean, look at us all internet-a-fied we don't really think of it that far.
But as long as you don't let yourself get caught up in the materialistic world I think you're fine.
Let's hope others try to get out of it too.
But when it comes to violence, I agree with some others its been around forever.
That's a whole different topic, though it'd be nice that that would stop too.
It's going to take a miracle.

Nope, not really. That's sort of a given for the human race.

Well, I didn't really pay attention to that sort of stuff when I was younger - So I don't really know if it is worse. Talking to my parents, I do know that there were kids when I was little talking back to their parents and being rude generally, whether it's worse now I don't know.

I guess it stems from the fact that kids can get away with anything these days - talking more teenagers. I mean, adults can't touch them and if any one does they get sued. Knowing that no one can do anything do them, to punish them has kinda lead to the feeling that they are invinvible.

I don't think kids these days are any more materialistic. At any age a kid wants all the new toys and that stuff and at any age their parents are going to want to spoil them and give them everything.

Yeah it did change most teens in my place join group even if they will be puddled or hazing. and most kids don't respect you they just bump you or even pick a fight to you if you bump them and you'll see many Girls just still in grade school wears make-up and have cellphone sometimes if they don't like your appearance they'll talk about the way you are or whatever. if you notice that most people discriminate like social status.
