Soul Calibur 3!!!

I had a 2pm - 5am Soul Calibur 3 session at my house with a buncha people last Saturday. My thumbs are now blistering :D

I got my copy last Friday and I love it. The game is really massive campred to the last one. There are so many things to do, lots of different activites and missions and stuff. The create a soul isn't too shabby, but I wish you could've changed the body size instead of just one default size for male and female. I love Talim now, she rocks so hard, it's crazy. The new characters are all great too, I love playing as Tira, she's so wickedly awesome and demented. Everything has been improved, IMO. There is a little glitch though if you do a 'soft-reset' or have auto-save on during Chronicles of the Sword. It can corrupt your data if you have them turned on. It's smooth sailing if you just avoid them. I also love editing the standard character's costume colors, I did that for about a half hour on the first day I got it! Tales of the Sword is actually pretty challenging, at least the last few 'Episodes' are. Especially if you plan on fighting Raphael with his special sword that can break guards. Another nice thing is that none of the weapons have 'negative' effects anymore, they're all positive, which is good because the gameplay is more challenging so you need any help you can get.

I am now stuck on soul caliber i BUT I DONT KNOW HOW 2 GET THE SPECAL SWORDS! :(

I've been playing it for few days on my friend's PS2 (US version), the Lost Chronicle seems a bit boring (he's got a HDD loader, so it doesn't really need time to load!!). Until now, we might have got all characters (hidden, bonus, etc).
You can unlock those main character's soul (their weapon) to use them with the appearance of created characters.
People on SoulCalibur.com/forum said you can get ancient weapon (last weapon?) after completeing tutorial.
Kilik is so damn cool :D but just don't know how to use... give up already on SoulCalibur (DC)
My favorite character is still Sophitia (since 1999 XD), she's become a bit slow and unsafe, but more damage!

Honestly...i think the game isnt as good as the hype....ya as a fighting game...it totally kicks and is one (if not THE) best fighing games out there......but ya thats all the props i can really give it....the whole RTS thing they tried to do with it kinda sucks.....i a review by gamespot.com before i got the game (i was gonna get the game anyways)....they said that the created characters arent as developed as the main cast......i had no idea what that meant at the time....but after buying and playing the game....i totally agree....the only reason why i play chronicles of the sword is to get money and unlock weapons......its kinda fun....but not as much as they made it out to be....and i was sorta let down by the character creation...i was expecting REALLY deep....sth AT LEAST like def jam II's.....how you can choose a body type....and make it kinda sorta look like you or sth....but instead i just get to choose hair, and clothes....which isnt bad...jus not great......dont get me wrong i still love the game...jus not that great playing 1 player....which is how you kinda hafta unlock everything....

I bought the game the other day and rushed home asap. I didnt preorder it, but the nice guys at the store gave me a t-shirt anyways...it was so wrinkled ><! Still tho, i regret not getting the strategy guide...bu ti must say it rules.... i SO made me in the Custum chara mode ^,^!
