This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

He punctuated with a full stop. What if you just accepted you misread it?

$damoser 3 minutes ago
Then why would he put a period instead?

$motogp 3 minutes ago
What if he forgot to put a question mark :P

^hatesyou 6 minutes ago
His comment was a statement. Not a question.

$damoser 6 minutes ago
Seemed more like a rhetorical question to me.

$motogp 10 minutes ago
No he was asking.i was telling xD

$damoser 11 minutes ago
So basically what aki said, only more specific.

$motogp 13 minutes ago
U can edit it and add the new size

Ah, I see. So after approving is possible to change to even a not listed resolution.

The first was a 4:3 wallpaper. The low res widescreen version has been added later.

Nice work! yeah the hand seems really good and so is the sword but then the hand just tapers off into something too tiny when it's at the point of touching the sword. Yeah but I do that when I'm lazy or unsure of how the hands should look. try finding some reference to look at for some help. umm the characters are great! You should name them! The girl and the boy are my favorite, i thought it was a look and copy at first of real anime characters. It's really fantastic work. humm the girls face though i think maybe just a little bit the side of her face facing the boy went in a little much..just a little tiny bit. but I mean It's a great picture though. great work

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. I forgot I had posted this thread until now so I didn't reply sooner.

Yea, I agree, the hand is really distorted but thats because I get really lazy when it comes to drawing hands. When I'm inspired to finish a drawing, I finish hands but other than that... lazy lazy. I was actually going to get to it but I couldn't find a eraser so I just left it alone. :b

Thanks for the nice advices and compliments. :) Yea, I totally get what you mean with the hand, it's really a bad habit of mine to get lazy and not finish drawings especially when it comes to hands. Which girl are you talking about? If you're talking about the girl standing next to the boy, she's not supposed to be facing him. I don't quite get what you mean and would like to fix it if you could provide a little more detail for me?

I'm going to post more doodles so I'd appreciate it if you guys give me pointers/comments on the drawings to come. Thanks again!

Okay ^_^ i'll try to explain best I can. I was talking about the girl standing next to the boy. I dunno there was something awkward about that side of her face, even if she is turned. Although now it makes more sence to me more. I think it might be the point of the jaw connecting to the cheek..now if she was turned you'd round that point off. I took a bunch of poses from animes and i pasted them all together so I could show you. go to ---> http://img204.imageshack.us/my.php?image=faceturned3de.png
yeah so some of them are more turned then others but maybe it helps? I dunno Its such a great picture i just thought that little part was odd. and heh I know I get lazy on hands too so don't worry I know what you mean. :P

Oh, I see what you mean. Haha wow, thanks for taking time pointing it out with pictures and stuff, it really helped. That part is actually supposed to be pointy but I put too much detail in it, making it look round. Looking closely at it, you're totally right, her face anatomy is really awkward. I'll try to work on that in the future. Thanks again. :)

I don't want to waste another thread so I'm just going to keep posting my stuff here.

Drawing #2

I really tried to make the hand a little more detailed here. I was playing Capcom vs. SNK and noticed how cool Kyo's outfit was. I basically "borrowed" his clothes and kind of modified it to my liking. He's holding his bandana in his left hand and uh charging up some kind of fireball on his right hand. I decided to name him Hyo after my name and well.. Kyo. :/ The drawing on the right is him with his bandana on and his hair gelled I suppose. All pointers/comments are welcomed, thanks.
