Rumor has it someone is going to die in DOA 4. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think it's going to be Hayate if someone does die. Because in the commercial it shows Kasumi falling down and I thought of it as her grieving for Hayate. In this game it's suppose to pick up more on the plotline. And I know Hayate is rising up against Helena and DOATEC along with Ayane and Hayabusa. Wow...just the thought of it. XD

Man forget the story line, tecmo needs to really step this game up and have it get played in tournaments. it's not quite there yet...
it would be crazy if DOA played exactly like the VIRTUA FIGHTER series (which is the god of 3D fighting games btw. even if DOA4 is new, VF4: EVOLUTION/FINAL TUNED is still years ahead as far as gameplay is concerened)

As far as I remember, DOA2U was considered as one of the games that would be included in Evo2k5 (it didn't, IIRC).
What DOA needs is:
-Harder to do counters.
-More variety in fighting styles (4 ninjas lolol).
-A deeper movelist.
-PLEASE, STOP WITH THE "LOL LET'S FOCUS ON THE B00BS PHYSICS".

The only thing that is interesting about this game is the Girls :):):):)
I have a feeling that Helena will die. She has a lot of mystery surrouding her thus far, and I have a feeling she's just at the end of her line. Hayate will probably not die because suposedly Itagaki based Hayate off of him. (I don't see ANY similarity whatsoever, Itagaki is on ugly mofo.) DOA has really dissapointed me after the hype of DOAU, it just didn't live up. I mean.. the game consisted of just getting some costumes and then you were finished.

Well ...my if someone does really die ...i think it will probably be one of the main character ... (ayane , kasumi or Hayate )
... i don't know much about helena ...but if the director choose to sacrifice helena ...the story line will be a bit lame thought ...so i think perhaps it won't be helena .... but one of the three character i listed up there

Helena does have an important weight in the DOA saga. Or at least she has had a lot of spotlight in DOA2 and DOA3, compared to others chars.

I love playing DOA, {hehe} I can play and beat a level 8 computer {highest level} ~ I really really want to play DOA Ultimate, its out on XBOX...but I dont have XBOX :( I've got Ps2.

I did. I heard there was new characters, new moves, new environments and lots of fighting-game innovations.More unlockable characters.All the original characters will be back (as long as they're not dead) with new moves, new costumes, and new environments with new break-away areas and moving hazards. There is a new westling character named "Lucha Lubre" (she looks like Lisa from doax). Another new character, Kokoro, (the newest "doa Girl") uses Ba Chi Quan Kung Fu to mess up your face. Then there is Elliot. He uses Xing Yi Quan Kung Fu. All I know about the background story on the game is that the DOA drama has centered around Helena and her story.In doa4, Helena's story arc will come to a resolution. She finally find out some truths about her family and then the story arc of Kokoro will begin. And that's all I heard and now know. I think it is going to be an awesome game. When I buy the Xbox 360, I am getting that game too. Talk to ya later.
I can't wait for this game! i just wish they would stop delaying it. It's one of the main reasons i bought my xbox 360. Anywho...i Would think helena would be the one that dies off...i really could'nt see kasumi going (the only reason i think of itagaki not killing kasumi off and it is a stupid reason at that.....Kasumi is itagaki's daughters favorite character) i can't wait for the game though the online lobby system looks like a blast!

Well, I know that Itagaki is making the combos harder because there have been complaints about how it is too easy. And he says that Elliot and Kokoro (Especially Kokoro) will be hard to master. People who have played the game seem to agree as well. As for unlockable characters, we have Spartan who is from Halo, Helena, Gen Fu, and Tengu. Gen Fu isn't in story mode and you only get the true ending if you beat the game with her. (Her as in Helena) You have to beat it with the 16 other characters of the game first. I'm REALLY excited about it. I think its going to rock.

I dont think that tecmo is going to kill someone....but i have a doubt, tecmo announced 3 new characters plus the spartan girl, but i heard that are more secrets characters...and if one of that characters is rachel from ninja gaiden......??
