best NFS (need for speed) series

Through the years EA games had developed one of the best racing games so for all the NFS fanatics what is your all time favorite NFS series and when it comes to cars which are the best asian or western cars??

I started playing nfs at around the age of 8 - 9 (first played road & track). After that Need for Speed 2 (love Mystic Peaks). Also, in Need for Speed 2, I got to race in my home town ^^ (Vancouver, BC, Canada). he need for speed i hot pursuit came out and that was like the first game that allowed you to get chased down by cops. and in 1999 NEED FOR SPEED HIGH STAKES (Probably the BEST). After that, I think, was Porsche Unleashed (never really liked the Porsches that much so I didn't die for it). Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 was pretty good (best part about that game was the graphics cand bomb-dropping police helicopters). I really hated need for speed underground coze they took away all the original/classic elements in nfs, but nfsu2 was a bit better. Overall, here's my ratings:
NFS 1: 7/10
NFS 2: 8.5/10
NFS 3 HP: 9/10
NFS:HS: 10/10
NFS:PU: 5/10
NFSU: 6/10
NFSU2: 6.5/10

NFS 1 & 2 were real clasics. From the rest i'd say that NFS you is the best ever. NFS U2 was veru crappy to say the least...
I would have to say NFS Underground. The customization options are amazing to say the least and has spawned tons of copycat games that can't hold a candle to the real thing.

NFSU 2 was pretty good. Still stuck on what I think is the last level. damn downhill drift-point gather hell.
NFS?? The hardest are the underground series.. but it's the best for modificators..
the very best is Most Wanted.. The higher it got, the harder the enemy.. and it doesn't have a difficulity selector.. So it's just stuck there with the AI improved every blacklist.. Does anybody get better than Blacklist 6?? I need some advice here.. thanks..

I like Most Wanted it's really good, only wish i had it on console instead of pc. I also liked need for speed 2 :D

NFS7: undergrund rules!
Remember the old games and Hot pursit was most fun with friends. Now I have only played NFSU2 and Most wanted. Underground 2 was easy when you get up your car to top lvl =) and Most wanted is getting a bit hard when I'm on lvl 4, failed 4 times in a row. Didn't cost much but I'm close to losing a car. One running over a spike, second they ram me up on the wall with help of a truck and get stuck really hard. Thrid time they do kinda chicken run but they don't intend to miss you instead do a nice big hit on your car. Happens times ^_^; My car has gone as fast as 200mph but mostly 170mph
I think the best is NFSU 2. I haven't played NFS Most Wanted, but I really want to play it~!! Too bad NFSU 2 is a bit too easy,, I'm quite bored on it because there's nothing more to do exept costumizing cars.. but the cars ARE awsome..especially the modification thingies.. awsome!! But I really want to try Most Wanted.. is it chalenging..?

The underground series was the ones i really liked, since i loved it when they released it when the movies the fast and the furious and 2 fast 2 furious were still in the mindset of people.. i love the customization!
especially since the dream i had by playing granturismo, where i hope they get cars where you can customize them and get nos... the those came out! yeah!
most wanted is waht i play ryt now.. and for me, it's kinda easy from the start, im just starting, and pursuit, i just love smashing police cars XD

From NFS1 up to NFS Porchse Unleashed just a classic racing, and its bad...
NFSU and NFSU2 have our attention for car modifying feature. But above that Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition can compete or even beat NFSU2 down.
I cant say NFS Most Wanted have better gameplay cause so many parts from NFSU2 can't be modified now:
-Complete Body Kits, not choosing front bumpers, rear, and side.
-No light (xenon glow and colored light)
-Taillight and headlight mod
Some good selection of car here in NFS MW. I like it when some Lamborghini, Mercedes, BMW, and Porchse come out in game, cause even in GT4 with that complete list of car, there are no thing like Lamborghini and Porche.
My favourite for now is NFS MW, cause i love the pursuit.

Underground 1, novel idea, really cool
all older ones looked really ugly, still fun to race, but looking cool is half the fun
underground 2 and most wanted aren't that orginal... could have been a mod for nfsu 1 easily
