Hmm... A bit of thought goes into this, since, after all, so many anime characters are in situations so different from ours it's almost like asking what food you would date.
However, I do have to say that the real Lux Clyne (forgive my spelling, I like to go with the early sub translations I've seen) would be a fantastic person to be with.
Also, the violin playing girlfriend of one of the main characters from A.D. Police has long served as a model of the perfect girlfriend in my own mind.
Belldandy of Ah! My Goddess has some undeniably desireable traits that would make for some nice times.
Natsume from GetBackers, Maho from Beck, The Captain (with the real long braid) of Full Metal Panic, Madlax, and The Paper of Read or Die round out my list, along with a number of the girls from Stellvia.
I'm definitely going to stop not before I get too perverted with any further selections. I've tried to keep this in terms of personalities as much as anything else.

Lol.. it seems I like most of my men hard to get. Gods.. I never realized how true that is.. even my real boyfriend ><;; It's scary what you discover about yourself when doing these things, lol. Now I'm really glad I started this thread. You have brought to mind characters that I'd forgotten about. Mizuho Kazami and Teletha Testarossa are good calls. But I think I also forgot a classic, Motoko Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell).
