Here's mine: I don't like her. She's very unrealistic. Once you consider the facts, she is. Remember the episodes when she was a little innocent singer and then she suddenly turns into a commander of a ship. Besides, she sings all of these songs about ending wars and she fights in battles. She's emotional, I know, but she can't really show it because she's a leader. She's very kind, and respected greatly, but if she has all of that power, how come she couldn't get Kira to pawn Gilbert as soon as possible or something like that when she knew that Gilbert was up to something? Gilbert claimed that Lacus had more power than him, and she should have done something with it. Also, she ditched her people to go live with Kira. Kira did need healing, but please! This is like 4 million Coordinators here that you are putting into consideration! It would be like Bush leaving all of us behind, and then reappearing months later. And nothing happened to her because she did that! They're just all like "LACUS IS BACK YAY!" And just because leaders want to destroy the enemy doesn't mean that she can just break away and form her own little faction. If she didn't have Kira on her side to protect her, she wouldn't have done that I bet, because she knows that Kira is on her side and that Kira has a ton of skills so she'll be safe as long as he's there, and she knows that he will always protect her. Lacus even "manipulated" Kira once; many people don't see it however. She knew that she was putting him through alot though, and apologized and begged him not to pilot again. When Kira was in Freedom, Lacus felt like she was using him for protection. Ok then, why give him Freedom again in Destiny then? To help the world huh? WHY him? Ok sure he is the Ultimate Coordinator, and he's the best, but that doesn't mean that you can let him pilot a destructo device and let him pawn everybody for a world opposite from the current ZAFT leader's ideals. But anyway, if all of this didn't happen, then we wouldn't have the Gundam SEED series today. Now I think Lacus is a thoughtful individual, but much of her knowledge is ideals, and not really common sense. Ok I know that she broke away and formed the faction because she wanted her father's ideals to live on, but why "brainwash" others? Consider Kira's speech that he made to Dullindal. That really sounded like something Lacus would say. "If you shoot me, then the world will fall into chaos."-Dullindal "I'm ready to fight for that world!"-Kira. OK, fight against CHAOS my man. Let Lacus be the next leader of ZAFT. That'll make everything better.

I've heard from an interview with Fukada that Kira doesn't love either Fllay or Lacus. But if Fllay were allowed to live, then I think that their relationship would have started out healthy instead of unhealthy, because Fllay really did care about Kira. Lacus did too, but she said to Athrun:I like Kira. Ok....she's engaged! -_-'(she was at the time) At least Fllay knew what she did wrong and confessed it...after she died...T__T

Kira had a crush on Fllay. Fllay was the first girl that he ever slept with (gotta take that into perspective), and he promised to protect her, but he failed at that, so he doesn't want anybody to suffer the same fate. That's why he protects. Even if it's been two years, Kira still has Fllay in a corner of his head. I don't understand why so many people hate Fllay. Fllay was one of the most developed and realistic characters of all time in Gundam SEED. And without her, there wouldn't have been alot of drama, and Kira wouldn't have his SEED mode, because it only happened after Fllay slept with him. Fllay was smart too; it must have been hard to devise a plan like that. Sure, she went into a mental breakdown after her dad died, but wouldn't you as well? Knowing that your only family member was wiped off the face of the universe? Besides, she's only 15, and she acts her age. Many, many anime characters these days act WAY too mature for their age.

LOL, it's just an anime take it easy. Anyway, I think Lacus Clyne was just supposed the human consciousness of one's inner voice. Yes she's idealistic but one always has an inner voice which tells them right from wrong, good from bad. I think she represents the peace that most of the world of the Gundam Seed (and Destiny) Series subconsciously hopes for. No one wants to live in fear all their life, especially fear of war. That fear that conjures up inside the people which creates a void darkness and thus when they look upon Lacus and her words it provides a beacon of light to free them from that darkness, which corresponds to hope. Thus, I think what the creators of the series wanted to do with Lacus and Kira was to pair two types of powers, one being the power of words (Lacus) and the other being the power of ability (Kira) to make those words become reality. Hence, Dullindal was saying 'how could such a pair exist' or something like that when he was talking about those two. Well, that's what I believe anyway.

But Lacus is more like a healer to Kira.
But it's funny though. Lacus is a beacon of hope to the people, yet she leaves them for a while, and is in a sense a bit of a traitor. But it all came out for good. I wonder if Kira or Lacus are gonna die in Gundam SEED Eternity...

Yeah, LOL. Personally my favourite character is Athrun. I especially liked how, in the end of Gundam Seed when he was going to selflessly sacrifice himself to blow up Genesis with Justice to save the people on Earth. I just got lots of respect for him then.

There's a new Gundam Seed series? ...

Athrun ROCKS!!!! I mean, he is a traitor viewed in ZAFT terms, but he had to get away from his dad, and in Destiny if he didnt' run, he would be dead. The only thing that I really didn't like about him was the way he was treating Cagalli in Destiny....and Cagalli didnt' have her ring!!! NUUU...AthrunXCagallli forever!!

Well there was something about a 3 season but its not 100% sure yet and 2 of the charakters of gundam seed destiny will be in it well we will see....

I'm getting so sick of Kira...I really wish that they wouldn't put him in there...Athrun I REALLY HOPE will be in Gundam SEED Eternity. Same with Cagalli. It would be cool to see Shinn again because he was a very underdeveloped char...would be cool to know more about him...

Cool, I hope there is a new series. I generally like the Gundam Seed series.

Gundam SEED was cool. Gundam SEED Destiny, I've heard, was a complete rip of an earlier Gundam series...Gundam Z I think? This time, I really hope they don't use many screenshots and they make an interesting storyline.
