Question about Categories Request

Hello,
sorry if this is not the right place to ask, but I really couldn't find anyplace else.
Anyway, I was wondering why a category I requested has not been accepted. It is a manga and there are already other manga categories of the same mangaka, so what is the problem? Moreover, a person of the staff once told me that you don't usually accept manhwa categories..how is that? Since there are some, I was wondering what kind of manhwa you do accept and what you don't, so that I won't do unuseful requests. Thanks.

You failed to mentioned what was the category you requested. Without it, other mods/admins do not know why was it rejected in the first place (example: an already existing category? hentai manga? doujinshi? etc)
As for manhwa titles, back then enforcement of category creation was more lax. Hence, the existence of some manhwa categories. However, we have since tighten up the approval of categories relating to non-Japanese works (Taiwanese, South Korean, etc) and applied this enforcement moving forward as AP's focus is on anime/manga/games of Japanese origin ever since its first creation. Exceptions will be granted provided that there are Japanese related tie-ins (eg: anime/game adaptations of Japanese origin).

Ok then for the manhwa.
The manga I was talkin' about is Jelly Beans by Moyoco Anno. No doujinshi, no hentai. Just a really great manga.

A google search for the series ties the series to hentai hence it was rejected. Hopefully in the next version will prevent confusion such as this through a revamp of the category request system.

Well, it is not hentai at all. So what should I do? Should I request it again or wait for the next version (..of what?)?

Your request was approved days ago. Category requests do not generate notifications and it is up to the user to check the category list in the submission form for the time being.
Oh, no wonder I didn't saw it in the scans categories list ^^;
