Gears is probably the biggest obsession that my roomates and I ahve right now. Its a great game.

How is Gears of War considered a stealth game when it is clearly a action game, so comparing Kojima's MGS series is not correct. Gears of War has a couple things going for it great sound, graphics and chainsaw. It isn't as innovative as some have said because the cover system has been done before, but none the less Gears of War is a great game, but not up there with Kojima's MGS since it is already spawning it's fourth installment.
I don´t think of Gears of war like and stealth action game like Metal Gear Solid or Splinter Cell or something like that. I think it´s a game focused on action like Halo, or Unreal Tournament or Doom or Quake, with a lot of action and guns and a large amount of enemies to kill. But the new features are the fact that you can use cover to dodge enemy guns and explosions and all that stuff.
I wanna play this game but I don´t have and Xbox30...but I watched some videos, I watched the AD in television and the game looks so greeeeeeeeeeat that I wanna play no matter what ^^

Awesome game but the ai gets stupid at the end and they are no help best idea is to do the last parts with a friend i beat it in one sitting with my friend
I wouldn't think so much of GOW as an espionage type of game like you're saying, although it is indeed great.
Perhaps I over stated it. There is stealth elements in the game, but it's not the centerpiece of the game. So My Bad on that, but then again, I run around alerting soldiers all day all nite just to practice my CQC, so I guess that's where my mind is (Heh Heh). I'll revise that, so I don't get brow beaten...

Wow this game is crack gears of war is halo on acid it's awesome i wish i had the will power to buy xbox360 just don't want to waste that much money on a system that i want for only 2 games gears of war and halo 3 :) cheessseee
Pretty good game but more of an action if you ask me. sometimes it's getting boring to do just the same actions every min. i'd prefer newer unreal over gow. but still grafix amazes.

Yea my new thing now is guitar hero since it's very interactive and gettts better the higher the deficulty goes i love it
Well, I don't feel so bad about the "Stealth" thing anymore, thanks lui355.

The ofline version of gears of war will get borring after passing it on every dificulty but the online is real good and for mr it has replaced halo

Lol, i never heard such thing in my life. Are you sure you saw or played gears of war? How can you compare such game with gears of war? Phantasy Star is Garbage compared to any other RPG game.

Theyree too completly different types of games. Its alright to dislike a game but if youre going to do so, at least point to something in the same genre.
