Have you ever had an item that you would never throw or give away? Basically, is there some item you cherish deeply and want to have it forever? For me, I'm 14 and I still have this Rugrats blanket that I sleep with every night. I got the thing over 5 years ago. That blanket has rips and and also has burnt marks on it. My mom wants me to get rid of it, but I say "NEVER!"

I'm not much of a material person. I'm sure I would be upset if I lost all of my stuff in some freak accident, but there's no specific item I would be in despair without. I'd be way more upset if I lost my ability to sing or my memories ;A;

Yes since I was 13 years old I have bring writimg my life in personal diaries because I feel good doing it. So Know I have 6 notebooks of that stuff and I lock it in my safe box with key because everyone in my family it's curious for reading it. That stuff I will never in my throw to the garbage. But apart of that I'm that kind of person that collect unuseful things. My room is full of that and my mother is waiting for the moment I'm not to clean my room.

It was judged that it's a necessary ceremony in order to get rid of the human emotions which take over you, and affect your ability to judge, thus I no longer have hesitation towards doing things like these.

I used to have plenty of material things that I wouldn't give away, I'm a really sentimental type of person, the one who keeps everything! I'm slowly trying to get out of that habit though and throwing/giving away all the toys that I had collected over my tweenie years.
I guess the think that I have and refuse to give away is a little rug aswell. I don't use it anymore, but for me it's like a reminder of my childhood.. I dont know o_O

Never really been a material person, did have this penguin doll when I was younger. Had that guy for probably a good 10 years, than it just disappeared a couple of years ago, didnt think about it much till I saw this thread.
To be honest,i never throw or burn my favorite big brown teddy.I was kept my teddy bear since 7 years old and now i am 16,hehe...i love my teddy,its filled with...nostalgic moments,u noe..every time i sleep wit my teddy,my sis keep complaining that my teddy is juz think somekind of old crap but i think its the cutest teddy bear EVER!

Oh, classic, I am driving my 18 year old car, i never sold it due to its insane footwork and manual transmission.
even tho I am now using a Nissan Skyline.
I have a black colored Bowl/Cup that is the size of a bowl (obviously), that has been with me since the old days, at least 10 years, it has been with me to China, Singapore, England, Americas... it is a travelling companion and a necessary item.
I would be plenty sad without it.

There're lots of things I won't throw away because I cherish most of items I ever have ^^

My first dollar bill. I had it since I was six and now I'm sixteen. Its getting pretty worn out but I still keep it, because I always thought it was cool. ^_^
