Episode 23 was just a fantastic and powerful episode.

So sad to see Lockon gone but he went out with a bang. Hopefully that damn Ali is dead or at least hurt badly enough to be out of commission for awhile. damn Daryl and doing a suicide attack, its gonna make Graham that much more determined. I cant help but think Graham is gonna be the next to die. I just cant wait for these next episodes, its just a shame were gonna get such a long break before we get to see the next season :(

I don't think Graham'll die. Rather I don't even think Daryl's dead either--his MS' core is still intact. He could still be alive. It's depressing that Lockon's gone though...jerks, I'd rather it if they took out Tieria if they had to take out any of the Meisters.

Oh Daryl is WAY dead. The person who should theoretically be still alive is Ali Al Sarshes. Lockon's death is debatable but Daryl, no question, the Saber definitely was enough to kill him even if it went with the Dynames' arm. And take out Tieria? Now? When he finally is starting to become normal and not someone wiuth a stick up his arse? HELL NO! Virtue is officially the most powerful Gundam and now you call it quits!?! No way in hell!

There's rumor that said nearly at the end of the first season, many of the character will eventually die, including Graham, Lasse, Nena Trinity, Alenjandro...

If it's true, then, maybe there will be new characters appear in the 2nd season

Well we are getting to the point where the official division of the characters begin. In a lot of Gundam series, the characters will get separated. This is probably the turning point.

That's really a shame. i was hoping to see Lockon (Neil as it is) till the end of the series. are there someone thinking that his brother Lyle will take up his position as Lockon? next, we have Graham for farewell, this starts to really kick a brush off start for the second season. definitely, new characters must fill in for these top ones.

A rather late reply from me on episode 23 but oh well. Regarding Lockon, I was wondering why he didn't use his Trans-Am system. I have check the episode over a few times and he definitely didn't use it. Why? I'm sure he could have won easily against one opponent with the Trans-Am! Shame he is out of the picture now >_>. One of the better characters in the show as well.

I really dont think id be able to watch Gundam 00 without Setsuna , im use to watching it with him , Allelujah , Tieria and Lockon , i cant get over the thought of his death , the Crew is getting killed off , and im hearing Graham is gonna die ... someone better be a mask dude , cause i would hate for Saji to be a pilot , no offence but i dont see him as one

Well as said before, Gundam tends to stick with the main characters. Lockon's death is definitely ambiguous but it would be more plausible if he stayed dead. but if they are bringing him back, then Sarshes will be back too. However, in Gundam, enemies die either really quickly, or get drawn out to some strange point. Alejandro Corner MIGHT die as Livonze seems to be running things behind the scenes and Alejandro may be just a pawn. Exia may be destroyed during a suicide attack at Alejandro's GN generators. it is also highly likely that Lasse may die too. However, Setsuna has the highest success rate for living as-

1- He is the main character.
2- He has not settled anything with marina Ismail and leaves something to be desired.
3- His goal is to live. Killing him off ruins the whole idea.

Allelujah is tied to Sohma Peiris so as long as she lives, he lives.

Tieria may still have some storylines with Veda and Livonze so he should stay alive.

As long as Sarshes stays dead, we can expect Lockon to stay dead too.

Ok, episodes 23 and 24 were a little too sad for me...I suppose I should have been prepared, though, as Gundam series' tend to wipe out several characters at once towards the end of the show...or season. Chris's death seemed almost unnecessary, if only because it was unexpected. (I thought she was going to live right up until I saw the shrapnel...) Lockon's is death was pretty tragic, (and if he's really gone, then Ali had better be perma-dead too.) but it raised some questions for me; was his death a waste? He didn't have to sortie at all, and even when critically damaged he could have retreated, but he chose to remain behind to finish his revenge thing with Ali. Even while doing this, Lockon seemed to second guess himself...and Setsuna related Lockon's actions with that of his childhood friend, who supposedly chose to die for some abstract cause too. Setsuna also asked Lockon if he 'threw his life away to avenge his family'...and this somehow helped Setsuna arrive at (I'm guessing) the conclusion that, according to what Lockon said...that he was significant because he existed...(and by exist, I think he meant live by one's free will, and not to live for anything else). Lockon chose by his own free will to die like he did, and Setsuna decided that he would, um, have a significant existence, (I'm using the sub's terminology,) by carrying on Lockon's will. I'm not sure I agree with Setsuna's conclusion...Lockon's death didn't do anything for his dead family, nor did it change the world, nor did it help out Celetial Being in any way. ... .
Anyone else have some thoughts on this?

Gundam 00 pales in light of Wing, many aspects seem to be quite similar in my opinion. However, it is still one of the better series of the last year...
Ep 23/24 were indeed sad, i wonder how many of the main characters will survive the fisrt season, I doubt many...

Celestial Being still has another base that they can fall back to. Remember the young girl from the Gundam Thrones that kissed Setsuna? She's the only one left from that vessel that is pretty much identical to the Ptalemeaos(sp?) and last time I checked she was stuck on earth. With a little help from Wang Leu Mei ( or whatever her name is ) they could most likely end up on that ship in the next season.

However, keep in mind that the ship is built with a GN Drive Tau. And it has docks for 3 units, not 5. They will have to repair and upgrade all four suits in the next season. However, it is pretty cunning, what they did. They forced their destruction so that during repairs, they can upgrade each unit accordingly. The question is who the pilots will be.

Man Gundam 00 just keeps beasting everything out there. Is there anyone who isnt safe from dying? I cant wait for the final episode, just two days away :) Gundam 00 far surpassed all my expectations and even though its gonna be a tough wait I'm so happy that the ride isnt over.

With the way things are going, I really do wonder how many people are going to be killed off in the last episode...
