Second Season announcement

Well in case you didn't know, this current run of Gundam 00 is only 25 episodes long, and th second (probably last) season is another 25 episodes. Well Anime News Network had the first announcement on the second season, and basically it starts October 2008, pretty much the same time the first season started.
So anyways, just a heads up. A bit quicker than I expected, but oh well I can't wait for more episodes.

I think it was already annouced before that gundam 00 would stop half way through and take a break and then continue the 2nd later on.
G-Gundam didn't come in pairs. Gundam X didn't come in pairs. Gundam series usually span over at least 40 episodes if that's what you meant.

Umm, you say "pretty much the same time". How is that when it's 2008 - we have 9 more months to go.
By the way, the new Gundam series is amazing. I thought it was as good as Full Metal Panic TSR - in terms of graphics & storyline & flow & action

Ah yes, second seasons, when the main upgrades are shown. Have you guys seen Exia's? It's a scan here on AP. It's called the Avalanche Exia. Personally I think it looks retarded 'cause it's so bulky. Totally ruined my image. The upgrade makes it look like some sort of berserker. Then again, Setsuna looks like a crazed berserker type person in battle. XD

They are going to air Gundam 00 for 26 episodes, then they are airing another series for 26 episodes. Then they'll show the next 26 episodes of Gundam 00, the show then rest of the other series that they are switching with.

I believe its only 25 episodes a season. Thats what its scheduled for at least.
What? Well i guess its okay as long as G-OO won't make me wait for its second season. 
Huh. Well, I haven't watched any of this series yet, but considering that it has gotten good reviews, I might think about it. Personally, I'd much rather have an animated Gundam Unicorn than more 00, but C'est la Vie.
The show was originally scheduled to be 50 episodes long when it got announced around a year ago, the "news" is that rather than broadcasting the whole serie in one single run, they've decided to split it in two seasons since they have to broadcast Code Geass' second season as well (which will most likely take Gundam 00's timeslot).

Yes that's true, almost all the Gundam Series, beging with 50 episodes, or around it xD.
But this gonna have 25 episodes, and other 25 episodes, i think that is great, the series have an excellent history.
It is just a break! (it isnt a break, is time for continue with the serie, the quality is amazing, they dont have time for breaks!)

This isn't really news. Gundams always run for 50-52 episodes, as it was announced before.
The real question is whether 26-50 will be shown before or after Geass season 2. I like Geass better so I hope after. I want Geass to be in the spring season.
