I hate wang liu mei as well. everyone seemed to like her that it began to bug me. she's truly a selfish person who's only trying to make herself important.

Wang Lui Mei´s character change a lot in this second season. In the first part she seems to be a believer of Aeolia´s plan, but now it seems to have and manages his own agenda.
I hope she is really dead, because based on her final phrase, she deserves it.
What I really don´t now is what the hell has Neena Trinity planned to do right now, are shoe going to reunite with Celestial Being or betrays them joining to innovators plan?

Nena won't join the Innovators at all unless she sees an opening to attack Ali. Unfortunately Ali is affiliated with the Innovators and she wants him dead.
Come to think of it, what happened to Ali? Haven't seen him since he got owned by Setsuna in that one ep...17 (s2) was it?

As for anew being a innovator i called it over a month ago. from the second i heard her name i said she was an innovator. look back on the posts and you'll see it. about lyle, i like what they did with him, it makes him his own person, not just a clone of his brother. i like that, it shows character development that is somewhat laking in war anime.
Tragic, doesn't it? Too bad Ribbons as the power to re-enforce his Innovator via Quantum Brainwave, overriding the subject will and thoughts. The death of Anew have a large impact on Lyle, unlike the death of his twin brother, will he able cope it and focus on defeating Innovators and their grand reform plans? An interesting look of the outcome since the season is coming to the end.
Nena would tag along with the Celestial Beings however, having Quantum Brainwave ability is liability. If Ribbons uncanny enough to control her without her knowledge, it will create an unnecessary situation which affected already chaotic in the Celestial Being. Also, the question of her personal grudge against Wang's will affect her in the next episode.
I think Ali is getting a newer and improved mobile suit which will be debut on the next episode. The rematch would be epic, I hope.

Not tragic at all and I'm actually surprised that so many people did not see it coming (Anew's death). From the first moment I saw Anew, she had "Innovator" written all over her. And she was a spy to begin with "KNOWINGLY" at that. She had no intention of helping the Celestial Being and her cheesy fling with that JACKA$$ Lockoff held no depth for me. It was more of a cheap fling that had to end for obvious reasons (Anew being a spy and all).
I'm glad she's dead and maybe now Lyle the dugebag can polish his sniping technique because as he is right now, he pales in comparison to Neil (the first and right Lockon).
Louise and Saji's relationship holds more depth to me (even if they were merely an eyesore throughout the series and I was wishing for their deaths a long time ago) I've grown to accept them as being KEY contributors to the series. To hell with Lyle and that traitor Anew (the only thing that made me sad was that he didn't die with her and Setsuna never really shot him when he had the chance!)
Wang Liu Mei's character served a greater purpose then Anew's cheap relationship with Lyle who is clearly jealous of his brother and should be damn it! Ribbons the man and he OWNS! I can't wait to see him in battle... if he's ever bored enough to actually fight without using anyone!

Yeah! Second Season, woohoo! ^o^. I think a lot of people who appear to be dead in the first season weren't actually dead, get what I mean? Like, haha, as if Setsuna/Souran would actually die? He's the main-character! ^o^. I would really want to see him pilot his newly modified(is it?), Exia gundam, or should I say, Gundam 00? Hehehehehe. ^_~. I also predict that Saji would get a bigger role in the second season, because they focused quite a lot on him, don't you notice? It's like they are trying to tell you something hidden...hehehehe. I think he would be quite a bad guy next time, like the avenger or something. I have a feeling that he is going to be one guy who triggers quite some unfortunate disasters for the Celestial Beings. Oh, and what's Louise doing there? I was pondering on her. Maybe she just joined in because she had nothing better to do? Haha, just joking. My father commented too, "Her parents got killed by Gundams and she's joining Celestial Beings?", like that. I am looking for her real reason in it. Oh, and most of the bad guys didn't die!! And that 'angel' of that 'some guy' (sorry, my mind is kinda blank, don't know why) seems to have some organisation. My feeling is that those people were actually the Observers, given a different group name, don't you think?
Haha, and the smirk on Tieria was so funny, yet mysterious. His hair was cut short too. ^_~. Would wait until second season comes out. Hopefully, I'll be patient. It is quite some time more...>.<.
Oh, and I see some comments on comparing this to CODE GEASS. To me, personally, I think both have their good points, and I actually saw, from Gundam 00 that Sunrise has really had a kick in their quality. Wow, that graphics are amazing! And the story isn't draggy from some parts or something. I would usually like romance, but, not having it is ok to me, if it's filled up with other great stuff, hehe. ^_~.
I think, Sunrise deserves a TWO thumbs up in this, and it's definitely one of my favourite animes. ^_~. I can't seem to find something which was too rushed or the other way, which I think is one of KyoAni's weaknesses....So, yeah, Gundam 00 is GREAT! ^o^.

I'm very happy that there is a second season and I just watched the latest episode which was really interesting. Setsuna’s “mutation” as I am going to refer to it and I am going to try to explain what I see going on within the show as far as him and humans in general when it comes to Aeola’s plan. People tend to forget that everything around us emits radiation of some kind or another. Be it harmful at times or beneficial, Sunlight is beneficial radiation when exposed to just enough of it. Our bodies process it into Vitamin D with enough exposure. However when some people are exposed to too much of it over a period of time it can manifest as cancer that could kill you. The topological decay, or simply put, the exotic matter within true GN drives as it breaks down releases nearly limitless energy. In the form of radiation that can be visibly seen near the source of it! The half life of this material must be extraordinarily long. Thus why folks refer to true GN drives as having nearly inexhaustible energy. But you have to remember that GN drives are reactors, and reactors mean radiation which is bad normally. With Pseudo GN Drives, the particles they release are not beneficial at all possibly when introduced into the body via an injury. We have all seen the results of this when it comes to Louise and Setsuna and maybe even Lasse.
With true GN drives, its a different story. Also I think I finally figured out why when the Gundams were on Earth they were always releasing GN particles when not in combat from their containers. Not for stealth purposes, no, it was to evolve humanity! Think about this, radiation is known to cause cellular mutation, if exposed to radiation before your cells have a chance to fully mature or one has a chance to reach adulthood they become permanently altered if not given a chance to repair themselves from the cellular damage. Expose a child’s parent before they were born to radiation, and before their bodies have a chance to repair it. The damage to their chromosome will be permanently passed onto their child when born. We have all seen the results of this if you look at pictures of some children born in war zone’s where depleted uranium rounds are used.
The dust, or particles, of said material saturate the land and infuse everyone in the battle zone with low levels of radiation that does not go away as long as you live there. Sometimes never even if you do leave the area, because it settles deep within the bones of the human body to nearly undetectable levels. The same can be said with GN particles. Setsuna has soaked up so many of them while growing up, it affected the way he grew. He became a Gundam pilot at fourteen at the earliest, a child as even his fellow pilots recognized. From then on he spent years near an active GN drive. Why this has not effected the other pilots? I probably has, but CB without Veda cannot do the simulations of just how it has effected them. Ribbons obviously knows what is going on with Setsuna. And why he want’s 00 so badly. Not just because of its abilities, but because it can effect human evolution.

Okayyyyyy... setsuna is now developing the sparkly eyes of doom...i honestly didn't see that coming. radical concept to be sure. one question after ep. 21, who's more messed up in the head: ali al sarshes, louise halevy, or nena trinity? not as easy an answer after this episode.

They’re all sorta the same but yet different if you think about it. People like Alle and Marie have QBW but they were made after birth (started off human), Innovators are genetically changed before birth and have QBW but also the ability to interact with Veda, it’s just one level higher. Now Setsuna for whatever reason has basically just evolved into what older gundams call newtypes. The show, like older Gundam series, never exactly explains the why or the how, Newtypes just are. There’s nothing else. Setsunas is still offing targets like before, he’s just way better at it now.
I've foresaw that Sestuna will evolve into something, an Innovator in this case, with the hint of previous episodes when Revival pings Anew to get the Celestial Beings whereabouts (sort like Sestuna having a Newtype flashes), having sort like Newtype dream of the dead coming to visit you; telling something will happen in the future plus with the last episode preview on this episode. Let's hope he's the same league as Tieria and the Celestial Beings.
In this episode, there's always a bigger fishes in the tank. And what a way to kill the characters. Supporting character A being killed by supporting character B then being owned by character C routine. And everyone in the owned chain got their revenge but with prospect of not able to fight in the upcoming episode. Most chilling part is Louise learn the hard way that exacting revenge doesn't bring back the dead and left in state of nervous breakdown or worst, insanity. Probably she is fighting the war under the influence of drug and Ribbon's mind control from now on. A good prospect for Saji to save her from A-LAWS, so to speak. Too bad, Nena unable to exact her revenge on Mr. Ali, so the title of being Ali's killer is up for grab for everyone.
Also, it reveals that Regena wants the piece of cake to control the new and changing world. Everyone is twisted and bend to achieve something. Interesting prospect of how this season will end, and let's hope they don't drop the ball.

Yup, same here. It became evident after that ping although even though Setsuna and Marie could sense that communication, y is it that Allelujah cant sense it. We know that the huge output of GN Particles from Trans-Am awakens Hallelujah, but having experience with quantum brainwaves, one wouldve thought he could sense them too. And wat about Tieria!?
And Lyle is being one bitch of a character. He joins Celestial Being as a spy... and fails completely; he knows Anew is an innovator... and does nothing about it; rages at Setsuna for saving his life; wants to kill Setsuna!? Sunrise has to find a way to bring Neil back to life =P
O and notice how Setsuna knew Lockon was pointing the gun at him, or is that just me!?

Louise being an innovator isn’t quite right, she’s just being controlled. When Ribbons fixed her arm he probably messed with her brain thus she needs those pills. Or the pills act on her as well. Setsuna is more of a “naturally evolved human”, the idea here is that when the 00-Riser goes into it’s max 300% output it spits out yet another special GN Particle. Not the normal GN ones we see already. This special one is what lets everyone in the set area of the 00-Riser also temporarily become an innovator and we get the funky mind hax. Now it’s my belief that Setsuna being exposed to so much of it, plus the fake-anti-GN particles has probably caused him to evolve into what Gundam calls a “newtype”. Sure in 00 they use the word “innovator” Innovators are man made. Ribbons and co were genetically altered by Aolia etc. Setsuna has become one on his own. You can see the difference now in his abilities as a pilot. Newtypes have great piloting skills. If you’ve seen any of the older gundams then you know what I’m talking about. Just because the Innovators think they’re great doesn’t mean jack, since in the end they’re really just man-made fakes. Without Veda they’re useless.
They’re sorta like the brothers from Gundam X. If anyone else remembers that one. The two brothers in that, like the innovators in 00 where able to connect and communicate with each other telepathically no matter the distance. The same thing now with the innovators, but they use veda to link them all together, else we just see the ones that are related (twins) using it. Like with Revive and Anew, but then Ribbons is the master of Veda so he can jack into the others if he wants. Anyways my point is that Setsuna can’t be controlled by Ribbons as he’s a “true” innovator now, and on his own level. He doesn’t need Veda or anything.
