Second Season announcement

Ok that kamikaze bit was a bit stupid IMO. Why the hell did he need those clones in the first place?? Wouldn't it have been much more effective to just strap trans-am to a bunch of missiles?
And is it me or is Setsuna just becoming more and more godly every episode that goes by...

The series has taken a turn for? So lets guess what would happen if its a “Kill em all” Zeta type. Lyle grabs hold of an over confident Ali and shoots his skirt missiles, blowing Ali up but also giving Lyle 5 seconds to say Anew or Neil before Cheradim blows up. Allelujah body tackles the Gaga from Marie but gets hit by followup Gagas while shielding the Archer. He pushes the Archer to safety and tells Marie to live for him before getting blown up. Tiera tries to fire his gun but gets frozen in place by Ribbons who gives his speech about how much of a better calibre and higher he is. As Tiera breaks free with his own will, Healing shows up and shoots Tiera. Tiera’s shot hits Veda instead, forcing Ribbons to stay inside his current body. Feldt and Milena finish setting the self destuct of the Ptolemaios II. While covering Milena’s escape to her parents, she gets shot by automotons. Milena reaches her parents and they jettison off from the Ptolemaios. Billy opens fire on Sumeragi but its a trick to get her to kill him as his pistol is empty. Sumeragi holds Billy while she waits for the Ptolemaios self destruct to engulf the both of them.
Just as Louise is about to stop fighting, Andrei opens fire with his intact weapons and hits the 0 raiser, killing Sagi. Pushed over the edge again, Louise rams a shocked Andrei who thought he was helping her. Both of them ram into the mothership. That sets the finale for Ribbons to show up with a new MS that used the data regarding the 00 that they captured from the Ptolemaios in episode 20. With Saji dead, the raiser beam sabre is unusable and they go into hand to hand combat. Hiling and Revive join in the attack pressing the lone Setsuna until Graham appears helping Setsuna. Setsuna continues to loose to Ribbons new 4 GN drive MS until Marie rams the Archer into him.

Meh, if the producers go for that, it would be a double edge sword for them.
I can accept Aeolia reason for simulated armed intervention to unite world to advance themselves into space exploration and colonization (sort like Char's dropping Axis towards Earth to create nuclear winter, thus forcing the Earth citizen to become spacenoid and evolve into NewType) but to prepare the human to dialogue with the extraterrestrial beings telepathically?! Now, that's sounded too Trekkie for my taste even though the original Gundam is Japanese version of Earth-bound Star Trek at that time. Oh, well at least they made it interesting.
So, Aeolia has predicted and anticipated that human can evolve into a True Innovator when he/she is exposed to the GN Particle emission from the Twin GN Drive. Therefore, he'd embedded a string of code in the original GN Drives that will release the full potential of the Twin GN Drive in Trans-Am Burst mode. This event will be trigger when the human is fully evolved into an Innovator (in this case Setsuna). The Trans-Am Burst release the unique GN Particle that link human thoughts and feelings in one union and able to communicate to each other telepathically. Also, they can communicate with the deceased. I think the reason why Lyle can hear Anew voice because her consciousness trapped inside the unique GN Particle before her demise. I reckon the Celestial Being asteroid fortress works as an amplifier to spread the unique GN Particle on Earth.
Anyway, Lyle manage to finished what his brother have started and avenge the death of his family. Kujoh has found her love and Sergei finally realize what he had done and feels regret.
I'm not surprise when Ribbons took down the Seraphim and reveal his mobile suit/armor for the final showdown with Setsuna. The remaining Innovators will gang up with Ribbons to destroy Setsuna for good.
This will be an entertaining finale.

Man the ending was... alright, I found it interesting enough, they spent on the idea on a 1984 like setting (Not exactly the same, but the manipulating of media and using a front like A-Laws and the Federation is something like the 1984 theme of big brother for season 2). Well.. at least they explain a damn bit about Season 1. It was a plot that could have been more expanded. Perhaps a +C to a -B just for not working on it more, but still wrapped it up quite nicely. The fact that they keyed in on that random purple hair girl probably means she's significant... even if it is for the movie. Marie and Allelujah just hiking on the mountains gave me... ah? So you’re coming back or not?
I thought the Gundam O could do so much more with the GN Drive. Guess not. Thank God Tieria is not coming back (unless he’s back for the movie or the so called Dialogues), out of all the pilots who improved, he improved the least. I guess its a heavy unit, but still do something better like damage them a bit in the very least. Maybe, someone should insert more mobile suit training combat for him in Veda. What seems to be left out for me is, the fact that they didn’t expand to the rest of the world in the end, so everyone can understand. Even it its designated once a year, it would have really emphasized the point that understanding brings peace. Oh well, the movie could be the explanation or expanding on making more GN Drives for the future (I’m pretty sure that O Gundams GN Drive is destroyed or at least partly damage from where the sword thrusted, so no more OO for not). I salute you Gundam 00, Thanks for making my Sundays enjoyable and intense with fights "usually". I say usually cause it didn’t always. Please make the movie excellent to watch Sunrise... Perhaps, hire better writers and do it earlier for the next TV Series, cause God you had so much Potential and just didn’t use it. As I sniffle and wave see you until I want to watch you again Gundam 00 (hard drive XP), its time to move on to... Cat shit the animated series... I think!

The final episode was epic. But only if you do not consider it as a ending, the second season only dealt with the “Unification of the human race” part of the Aeolia plan, the serie will be brought to a true closure in the movie... True that the 0 vs Exia felt rushed but remember that their is a time constraint for the episodes. Maybe we’ll get a extended version of the final on the DVD/Blu-Ray. Hallelujah came back because of the Tran-Am burst, remember how previously he could only appear while The 00 was in Trans-AM mode? I guess the Burst healed whatever brain damage Allelujah had received and that prevented Hallelujah from appearing. I think that that is what also fully healed Lasse as Saji said that Luoise was cured because of it.
The A-Laws commander committed seppukku? damn that guy was hardcore until the end. About the Innovator cameos in the ending, remember that they were supposed to help humans in the beginning by being their link to Veda? Well I guess with Tieria taking over Veda, I suppose that their original purpose was restored too. Are Allelujah and Marie/Soma out of CB? Or are they just taking some sort of lovers vacation?

I thought the whole idea of stirring up a war just to end all other wars was quite cliche, but keep in mind when Gundam 00 began there were also three main powers and those being that of Union, HRL, and AEU. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Celestial Being was created because the three powers were trying to "out-do" each other with the whole orbital elevators thing and so Celestial Being was there for the purpose of unifying all three factions as a whole and making sure that humanity doesn't kill each other because one faction is trying to take over the other. (Sorry, huge run-on sentence.) The whole idea of peace in Gundam 00 was mentioned a lot throughout the second season, mainly that of understanding each other. It does somewhat have a Code Geass ending with the whole thing of making everyone unified by projecting their hate through that one certain thing, i.e The three united factions (now the Earth Sphere Federation) vs. Celestial Being (the supposedly "evil" terrorist organization), and Britannia/Japan/rest of the world vs. Lelouch.
And another thing worth mentioning, even though I've only watched about 50-60% of the whole Gundam franchise, the characters in Gundam 00 somewhat lacked development as compared to the other series of characters that I've watched. I really wish they would have elaborated more on the revival of Hallelujah, and Lockon (Lyle) still seemed somewhat hollow to me even after the season's end. The only character I thought had a bit of development for this season was Tieria (mainly because he went from total asshat in season one to a cool and suave guy in season two, but even then that's sorta pushing it). Obviously Setsuna would have character development since it shows his evolution into an innovator.

Whoah... Saji is not dead! Why is he on the epilogue (+ Louise in the hospital) if he's dead? And I did watch the last episode... great battle between Setsuna and Ribbons but a bit disappointed that Setsuna X Marina love (or relationship) is like Heero X Relina in G Wing... :(
Y'know, actually the season ended off pretty well. In fact, one would think that this is the end of the series. (Despite certain medias claiming that there will be season 3 and 4). Like they always said, all's well that end's well.

Great they made another season, the more the merrier.
Even after watching both Gundam Seed and it's follow-up Gundam Seed Destiny and the extra episodes, which combined over 100 episodes, I still wanted more

As someone who loved the first season, I have to say I was a bit let down with season 2. I had hoped Nena Trinity and Bushido would have had a much bigger role in season 2 then they did, since they were my favorite characters in the first season, but the show chose instead to focus on the innovators as the main antagonists while tossing both to the side. Still, I anticipate the movie.
