Theory on Celestial being
Well, it seems like Trinity is an independent force as the command is handed directly to Johan. Johan seems to be the level headed one within Trinity. They may have superiors but it seems like Johan is handling the mission planning at this point, much like Sumeragi.

Well to start off, the name Throne most likely refers to the angelic order of Throne (similar to Celestial Being in that respect) rather then the seat of a king. If the ultimate goal of the Gundam team was to take over the world then why play around with stopping conflict and ultimately setting up the countries to work together thus making it harder to take them down.
Still, I am not exactly sure if the second team of Gundams is truly in line with the ideals of Celestial Being. The beginning of Ep. 17 hints at the origins of the Thrones Gundams as being recovered from the data in Jupiter base only 80 years prior to the series. If they recovered data on both the technology and the overall plan of Celestial Being then it wouldn't be hard for them to earn their trust while subtly moving towards their own goals.
As for the Red particles, in Setsuna's flashbacks to the first generation Gundam 0 we see that the original Solar Furnace emits red particles as well. My guess is that they are using technology derived from the original prototype and taken in a different direction then the current Gundam series. I'm not sure if they are necessarily more powerful then the current Gundams aside from the wide range dispersal effect. Exia seems to be the better close range suit and Virtue is capable of higher output weapons (at least when comparing individual units, not joined units).

I think the actions are made to convince the world to "stand down" in their army, prompting the nations to weaken in military power. Then the Gundams themselves will become the most powerful force in the world and achieve world domination.

I wonder about the "released" forms of the original 4 CB gundams. Do the other 3 have a form like Nadleeh? Maybe that would put them on par with the Throne Gundams?
The new episode introduced too many questions than answers...

We've already seen Kyrios' "released" state also. It's his uber crab claw shield thing he used when Hallelujah was first introduced.
Most of the gundams seem to have some form of hidden weapon.
Virtue has the Nadleeh form.
Kyrios is supposed to hide his shield claw. He also should have various disposable weapons available.
Exia has not yet used the Avalanche.
The Dynames has weapon extensions and auzilary weapons that serve the purpose of diversifying his sniping.

This is starting to sound like season 1 of Bleach...hahaha.

Red particles or not, the GN drives of the Throne Gundams have been classfied as fake, or different to the others gundams, and thus will die over time.
Looks like my theory on CB's existence was partly right... to unite Earth under one banner...
