Relatively speaking. A 5 year old one handed mech missing a part of it's face, showing a single red eye hell bent on annihilating the Aheads? With those odds, it's pretty obvious it'd be beaten, but it put up a hell of a fight. And that's definitely more interesting to watch than a superior mech owning everyone else; what fun is it to see 00 slash through everything with ease?
It would have been very badass. I don't really like how they gave everyone a new Gundam but whatever. T.T;; Only new one that looks nice is 00. All the others don't look as good as in S1 or are pretty much the same.

I have to agree, it would've been pretty cool to see Setsuna pilot his old Gundam for most of the second season. But then again, this is Gundam *00*, not just 0. haha.
I think it would be cool if they just keep some part of the scratched part of exia, like one glowing red eye and the cape. It gives a veteran look of the pilot and its gundam.
Haha, I agree. But if you notice, it's not all easy dicin' on 00's part. There's a slight lag time from when the 00 clashes with the lance of the A-head's before cutting through. It's not as fluid as when Exia was dicin' up friggin' Tierens and whatnot.

C'mon man that busted Exia's got half of its face sheared, left arm missing and only got the rifle/blade as its weapon... you cant expect it to carry on throughout the season... But yeah it's the coolest I've ever seen of Exia
Exia had its charms il say that but i like 00 better in every aspect :D

Exia is an old model, it has at least 5 years old. And it´s pretty obvious that in the last 4 years doesn´t have the proper maintenance. I think, based in what we saw, that was a decent job that Setsuna do witj his mobile Suit against the AHEAD.

I personally liked the intro of a newer Gundam for Setsuna. Him using busted Exia, and somehow beating A-Laws would mean the government/federation has barely updated their mobile suits and/or it has depleted, in the four years time, like Exia.

It could be awesome IMO to see Setsuna pilot busted Exia throughout Season 2 but I much prefer to see Exia get repaired and beat up the GN-Xi and Ahead units and team up with OO Gundam at the same time. But, alas there is not room for Exia to have GN Drive unless they have the additional GN Drive from Jupiter.

It would be badass, but its woefully underpowered these days. but i did love the terminator red eye. that was amazing, especially when it reflected off Saji's faceplate.
