Would it not have been badass if Setsuna piloted his busted Exia throughout season 2?
I think that if he used Exia in the season, they would of fixed it lol
Like celestial being would say "hey you can roll in your beat up P.O.S. while every1 else gets cool and improved gundams!" -- if that happened i would of stoped watching the show haha.
On another note, 00 gundam is much better then exia. I like the aspect of the twin drive system!

Exia is history. The advancement of technology has made it obsolete that it got pwned immediately at the start of the season. Everyone needs an upgrade or two to match up to the new generation MS.

While Exia Repair is definitely badass, it is greatly inferior to the current line of grunt units, so much so that it's nearly obsolete and even had trouble against an Ahead.
Although the appearance of the worn out Exia was a great way to start the season with a bang, I think SUNRISE overdid the appearance tho with the addition of a ragged old cape, I mean that is just too much.
It would be so badass if they gave 00 the terminator eyes and a more... metallic frame

It would have been awesome for a busted Exia to be used in maybe a few more episodes but then who wants to see an outdated Gundam with a smeared face and a missing arm for a whole season? besides 00 looks cool

Yeah, what happened to Exia anyway? is it just a backup now? or is it completely inoperative?
Why would they keep that thing as a backup? Its biggest blade couldn't even handle the Ahead's beam sabre. As much as I like the Exia's design a lot more, it's way too ancient to stand a chance.

Seriously though, the Exia looks totally kick ass just coz of the red eye and it missing half of its face. It would be cool if they gave the 00 that single red eye. It would look sweet

Busted gundam exia from episode 1 somewhat reminds me of Gundam Sandrock from Gundam Wing with the green cloak covering from the shoulder to left knee

I would be totally against Setsuna piloting that heap of junk for one more season. It would be excruciatingly painful to see him not do much each battle considering his machine is about 4 years outdated.
Exia's old news, the 00 is even more broken than jesus yamato who doesn't like a gundam that can quantum tunnel?
Hahaha wrecked Exia would be cool fighting those GNX-609T but it wouldn't win against new models like super long range gun :) He might die because of that old G-0
