A friend told me that the plans for a Gundam 00 movie were confirmed in Animag, but I haven't seen it for myself...

The idea of Gundams taking on alien beings (as been indicated in the epilogue of the end of Season 2) is not a promising prospect. It might work on audience that only recently exposed to the Gundam universe but might shunned away and angered the ol' skool hardcore fans. It's uncharted territory and I'm afraid it would turn out something else if the producer drop the ball.
Anyway, let's how it goes because it's too early to criticized the idea. We have to wait another 1 1/2 years before it being release in home video format.

I don't think it's that gundams will be taking on Aliens. I think it's that mankind isn't in the right mindset to meet other forms of life. If the people of Earth can't even understand each other, how can you expect mankind to understand aliens? It would lead to more war, possibly on a galactic level. And i believe Aeolia Shcoenberg didn't want that to happen. He wants mankind to be at peace with itself and its galactic neighbors.

Whether or not they are taking on aliens, I'm still pretty excited to see what is gonna happen next. Bring on more previews!!
I think Aeolia has more Innovedos lurkin' around on the moons of Jupiter. Mind you the Innovedos themselves seem to be rather alien if you ask me. XD
Yup it is true there will be a movie coming out in 2010 but the exact date has not been disclosed... I think.

Can't wait for it, hopefully Allelujah and Soma Peries will make a return in that movie, along with Tieria as Veda and new meisters :P
I hope this movie saves the series. cause the enfing to season 2 was ver dissapointing
