As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Serious knowledge

Ctrl is useful when you want to control the angle of the vector. Shift is for asymmetric vector. You can combine the two also. One more thing, if you start an other path while pressing shift and that a former path is selected, the two will combined.

I only use ctrl for zooming, backspace I knew because it is the same in PS and AI. The shift and enter I didn't know, those are useful. I ended a path using right mouse on my last node

It would be a nice group! You should go for it Mouton.

Hi, mouton, I think it's time to open the Inkscape group, questions and new users are massively arriving, even for me XD

Hey guys!

*moutonzare 16 minutes ago
You have to finish the path to edit it with the node tool. You can finish a path by closing it up or by pressing enter. You can also go back in the path by pressing backspace. I also suggest you to try pressing shift and ctrl while using the Bezier tool^^

~NosVII 21 minutes ago
Q mouton; Can you edit nodes while in bezier tool? Because now I finish a path first and then use the edit tool to change it.

Thank you ^^ Now it will be harder to do better with my next wallpapers XD

For me i would prefer a desktop, but right now i am typing on a laptop... i am used to typing on both, but i play video games and that almost requires a desktop... i also dont have enough money for an exspensive laptop that is really good... mine is only like 1200 dollars, for one that i could play games decently it would cost me almost 2500 dollars(american)... i also like having a mouse and keyboard.

so which do you prefer?

There is no choice but to use a laptop if you're outside for work or school, etc. I use a laptop at school. But I guess you mean that if we were to play games at home, would we prefer a desktop or laptop? (I apologise if I mistake your question.)

I prefer desktop. Easily upgradable. Components are cheaper for desktops too. Desktops are more powerful too. Laptops are purely for portability.

I agree with ~HmRkS , i had a desktop but later changed it whit a laptop. it's handy
cause you can take it where ever you want but not really suitable for games which
are very important to me. so i'd also prefere a desktop (unfortunately too late)

Desktop. I would love to be able to take my computer anywhere but I don't like Laptops because they brake way to easy and aren't as good as desktops.

Desktop for sure, i hate laptops(no offence), they get heat up so easily, and the prices are just disgrace, i bought my desktop(new1) for about 3500-4000, i personally really like it, i think if i use 3500 to buy a laptop, i couldnt have had a good com for me to use

Desktop for gaming and regular working, laptop when you know you won't be at home that much (e.g: if you like to travel).

Desktop for gaming and photo/movie editing.
Or anything else, for that matter.

I'd prefer laptops for work or anything I need "on-the-go". Heck, it can even serve as a music player in a pinch.
I don't believe in gaming laptops - these are usually heavy and have a low battery life. I like my laptops light and long lasting. Small and thin is an added plus as well.

I prefer my laptop. It's portable, and with my wireless network, I can be online anywhere in my house.
I also travel quite a lot, and being the internet/anime/manga addicted being that I am, I must bring my laptop along with me. I don't see myself lugging my desktop around, even though it is a SFF pc.

But then again, I play games and work and other stuff on my desktop.

Desktop for me. Why? because it offer better porfrmence and far cheaper then laptop. Not only that is easy to upgrade. Sure laptop is more moble but there is a price to play for that and that is the limited battery power you can get. And some laptop is too heavy to carry. if you live in NYC like me i'll fear for my laptop if i carry around in the subway all the time. Laptop heats up fast and the fan tence to brake down after long use. The battery can easily be over charge and die. Is every expensive to replace or upgrades laptop parts. So I'll perfer desktop over laptop any day.

I prefer my desktop. I've never had a laptop, but I think I would be scared that it could break. xD But laptop would be nice, when I'm travelling or something like that, but just for this.

Laptops just cost too much for less of everything except portability... and personally I would prefer not to be so accesible everywhere I go - i.e. with a laptop your job would expect you to always be availbale to do more work... with a stationary desktop I can always say well, I'm not at home with my computer so whatever it is will have to wait until then...
some people are just so work crazy, with their cell phones (blackberries) and laptops... they just work work work all the friggin' time... no time to experience the other things in life... too bad for them I guess...
