I've been looking for a good graphic card for awhile, i need the VGA/TV-OUT/DVI plugs and im hoping to a very good one at a decent price, about $300 (australian) - any reccomendation?

I recommend the nVidia FX6600. I'm not quite sure if it has TV-OUT/DVI (i'm pretty sure it does though), but its a great card for games and such. I think it retails for like $149 USD but if you have the cash you can spring for the newer 7600 which is nVidia's replacement for the 6600.

I've got the Nvidia gforce 6600 GT and yes there's a tv-out & dvi. I agree it's a good graphic card but now 7600 GT is the better choice. And if you do prefer ati i think 1600 ?
Pci-express of course.

Honestly, i would use any graphics card made by Navidia, i currently have 2x 'Navidia Geforce FX 5200' and i have 4 monitors hooked up to it :) (and an aditional 2 tvs)
there quite inexpensive, and well made. Althought they are not pci's

Well, to put it simply:
Nvidia = average gamer/user who requires high performance and inexpensive cards
ATI = hard core gamer, quite expensive but you get nice graphics out of it.
All others = i don't really recommend unless you're not into intensive graphics.

All graphic cards now are pci-express ant not AGP anymore if i understand well what you are saying by "blue one".
It's evolution ...
I still have an AGP port and while watching to upgrade my 6600 GT i noticed that you can find 6600 & 6800 family in AGP and that's all. So i decided to wait till i upgrade cpu, motherboard, ...
I think dual dvi is for connecting 2 Lcd monitors in dvi but i'm not sure.
Why 7600 GT when 7800 GT should be the obvious choise? 330 euros and offers some solid performance (FEAR seems to working flawlessly on my rig even with relatively high settings). I wouldn't recommend anything under 7xxx, since those can't run games like that anymore (my 6600 run it like a photo-gallery).

I know for $300 US you can get the Nvidia 7900GT which is AGP and the 7800 which is PCI-X. Depends which you like. Sorry I don't know the conversion rate between US$ and au$. Just too lazy to look it up. =)
Nalla where are you is Australia? If its either Sydney or Melbourne check out these guys:
www.msy.com.au
Their prices are quite hard to beat, I'm currently using a FX6600GT and let me tell you it works a treat!

Dual DVI for dual monitors, a really nice feature :) Once you go dual monitor it's hard to go back to a single monitor.
230 USD = 300 AUD
I'll list the prices in USD / AUD format, both below and above the limited budget:
All cards with dual DVI + tv out (DVI/VGA converter included). *DVI x1 VGA x1 output depends on the manufacture, but dual DVI is the standard.
And in the PCI-16 interface.
ATI x1800GTO ($200+ / aud 259.05+) or x1800xt ($260+ / aud 336.80+)
Nvidia 7600GT ($200+ / aud 259.05+) or 7800GT ($260+ / aud 336.80+)
Just search for the best deal around. I found a x1800xt for $240 after rebates.
Edit- added links for all the Nvidia vs ATI BS. I'll let you decide which card is better.
Here - x1800GTO vs 7600GT both cards OEM Overclocked.
