After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Ok. I really like customizing any gadget my hand can hold. I customized my phone, my desktop, I even custom built my own stereo amplifier so here it is.

I want to know everything... The specs I mean. The specs on a mid/full tower because I'm designing my own. It's not really a tower but a bed type. Kinda like what you see in the old desktops. I really don't want to take a measuring device or anything to measure my own enclosure because I may get the wrong data and I really hate to make something, where in the end, the thing I want to attach doesn't fit by a couple of millimeters. That will really suck.

I need to know everything that is associated in building a case/enclosure for a desktop pc.
Here's what I need:
Screw Holes and distancing for the PCI, AGP or any rear I/O expansion cards.

Actually... This is all I need because I got the other specs on pdf format and downloaded them from the net. But I can't seem to find this one. I tried. But ofcourse, even if you look hard, you won't find it if you really can't. But ofcourse, If you have the full specs on the case I still want to get it. It might give me more ideas. =)

Maybe someone here can help me.

Not sure that I can really be of that much help.

What size board are you going to use? ATX, Mini-ITX etc...?
Are you going to use full height PCI (PCIe) slots, low profile or mounted sideways?
Have you considered cooling and noise?

Actually the casing that I'm building doesn't really have a covering on it. So cooling and noise is not a problem. The board is mounted horizontally, the board is parallel to the table, and I've designed a mounting rack that can fit any ATX (ATX only) board types. The height of the PCI/PCIe is not a problem since the whole thing is not covered. I'll worry about the covering after I finnish the CAD designs.

If you're thinking of covering it (even in the future), I would consider the airflow within the case and the position of vents and fans as well as other components including the motherboard.

If your going to secure the cards in place you will need to know whether your going to use standard height cards or not, or if like some other horizontal desktop cases the cards will be placed horizontally (parallel to the motherboard). It sounds like your going with a pretty standard setup, just like a tower case on it's side with full size PCI cards though.

EDIT: THIS document may be of use to you.

Hmm, what worries you exactly about measuring your case and components? I mean, most people just rip a motherboard tray and the drive bays out of an old PC and base their custom case on that. Or just measure your components, so you have the exact width of your DVD drive for example.

Maybe you can post some sketches of it?

You are probably better off canalizing an old tower that has the best features that you are looking for. Or a few pick and choose things you like about the other ones.
