As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Aki, are you going to use inkscape aswell?

`akiranyo 34 minutes ago
Hahaha. I hate that site. A bunch of anonymous people who think that can do anything what they want.

Im alittle worried , whenever i run virus scans

it shows up

Number of items scanned : ######## [like 45000]
Number of items detected : 0
Number of items repaired :0
Number of items quarantined: 0
Number of items removed :0

Do i have like ... super anti virus protection because of an update , or is there something wrong my McAfee , whenever i scan i usually get at least a couple items detected and quarantined

If you don't trust the results of your virus scanner try an online scan such as trend housecall or bit-defender. Aside from that all that anyone can do is speculate or correctly attack your choice of antivirus product.

On a more serious note, how often are you scanning for viruses?
If your getting several viruses a week there must be something wrong somewhere...

There is a program out there that is free that is a compliment for anti-virus that sits in the background and watches program behavior. If the program is ding something fishy, it will tell you. I can't seem to remeber it's name right now, I can look it up later today. If anyone knows it, please chime in.

This might help you if your anti-virus may not be detecting everying.

Over the years from Windows 2.1 up to the latest Windows 2008, I have only ever detected a total of 6 viruses on my computers. It is not normal to detect 3 or 4 viruses on your computer every couple of days. Per month maybe...

Were the viruses the same ones each time or different?
McAfee should keep a log of what it's been detecting/removing.

If McAfee says your computer is clean and the online scans hatesyou linked to corroborate this, then I'd just be happy.

It could be something as simple as McAfee detecting things like tracking cookies and removing them. Though I'm not familiar with McAfee or what it detects and attempts to remove.

The name doubleclick hasn't cropped up at all has it?

McAfee tends to call any risk detected a threat. That includes tracking cookis and with higher settings even Most Recently Used lists. I doubt all threats historically detected on the user's PC are viral in nature however given their technical deficiency there's nothing to say that their browsing habits aren't risky to begin with.

AVG's (which I mentioned early) isn't bad at all. The only problem it has is one where the virus scans tell you to change the shell32.dll, but if you seriously believe it and change any system32-related file then you probably, to quote Zero Punctuation, "need help dressing yourself in the morning". Other than that it's pretty good. I had one threat in twelve months with it and AVG healed the problem immediately. They are coming out with a new version in about 2-3 weeks (going from AVG Free 7.5 to AVG Free 8.0). Oh yeah did I mention AVG was free? Pretty good free AV software.

Allrigh if you don't want to uninstall mcafee just make sure to turn it off (even the computer started). And then install other free antivirus or the demo one. There are some AV that i like :Norton, NOD32, Avast, kaspersky (this is strict one). Just install one of these, update it, and scan your computer for the result.

AVG is GOOD. IT found problems in a friends PC that McAfee didn't. So that is cool. AVG is also free. Well you can upgrade to the $ version but free works.
