lemme give a backgrounder first. for bible-believing christians, this was somewhat tolerated in the Old Testament times. but tolerated does not mean allowed. yes in a sense it is biblical, but not encouraged. though it was not an issue back then.
personally, i have nothing against this. but i do not want to engage in such deed. it feels like there's no commitment at all. after all, getting married means loving each other. theoretically, a romantic relationship (true love aspect) only exists between two people. otherwise, it's lust IMHO.
no offense to those others (like the muslims who allow this in their religion). it's just how i feel. Ü

Does this ever work to the favor of a female? Ever heard of a case where one girl gets more than one guy? XD
Anyways as mikageryuji said, it's a commitment thing, and I doubt you can share true love of equal amounts with more than two people in your whole entire life. There's "care" and then there's "LOVE." Now if you happen to love two people simultaneously, I suppose it can be hard, but I guess as long as the two of them don't have problems sharing... -_- Forget it. Legal issues man. There's inheritance and all that garbage and it just wouldnt work in a society consisting of people who sue their own flesh and blood over even pettier things.

I think Polygamy is wrong and immoral. Im not really religious, just think its sick.
Well, in the Bible times they had more than one wife, though I think that wasn't really considered "okay" then either...
But nowadays Christians do not believe in practicing polygamy.
I, myself, think it's impossible to be able to share yourself equally, in both physical senses and verbal relationship. One of the women is bound to be jealous because the other gets more attention, or she feels she gets more attention, and that would lead to strife between the women which will ultimately reach the man in the end. So yeah...even if I don't look at it from a Christian perspective I can't see any positive side to it.
People have enough problems with one spouse; two would just double (or triple) the problems!

Hmm... i agree with what MikagerYuji said... Its hard to love two people at the same time without being biased... I don't like polygamy, and i think it gives off a sense of distrust. Why the hell would you need 2 wives? do you wanna start a breeding farm like rabbits or something? @~1@

^I think the people that practice this don't really share the same type of love as what people consider it today as in 2 people sharing feelings for each other but more like they believe that each other is important and care about each other more as a friend? O_o type of deal because I seen some people that practice this on TV and I didn't really see that type of love between all of them and all the wives seem friendly with each other I am not sure but... they were living in a farm and needed all the workers they can get? >< I have no idea

I cannot say i agree with polygamy and i cannot say i disagree with it. as far as im concerned people can live their own life so long as they are not harming anyone else in the process, if the man and his wives all consentually want this type of lifestyle sobeit but polygamy is rarely ever practiced this way, often enough the man dominates his wives like a tyrant, taking away their freedom and the freedom of their children to be who they want to be and women are often taken into such a lifestyle at such a young age they cannot possibly defy it. polygamy is just an idea, we are the ones who do wrong

Well i duno abuot polygamy...but i think there would be one heck of a family tree going on there, lol...but i think polygamy is ok but not something that i would do myself considering i only want 1 true love, hahaha..
