Do you ever realise you're on the computer too much?
Toda i was writing something for my friend on paper infront of my comp that was turned off and i made a mistake and pressed control z for like 3 times until it hit me...wtf why wont it erase and i look up and i kinda had an "oh F@ck" moment, which made me write this,
so do you ever realise that you're on the computer too much, and like how many hours are you online every day?

I realize it when my tush starts to hurt form my broken computer chair.....but it usually doesnt make a difference because there is always something that has to be done on the computer... drawing , paying bills, checking class, checking accounts, keeping track of friends etc.
Yeah, i realise im on the computer waaay to much. I have my computer on 24/7 and spend most of my time in front of it.
So to answer your question. Yes, i'm definitly on the computer too much and i'm on it day in and day out. I'm probably not the only one either. What will become of the future generation? :)

Yes I think that I'm on the computer too much. I can just do something simple like chat to my friend on msn or just browse through AP or read a webcomic... Then I look at the time and I realise it's been like 5 hours XP
I have wished that there was a ctrl z or copy and paste function in real life really frequently, but I've never actually pressed the computer keys like that... Haha

I realise every day that I'm way to long behind my computer, but I just can't live without the computer, it's like a part of my life.
The last time it seems that I got more addicted to the computer then I already was, I'm about 10 hours online every day that (mostly from around 11.00 PM till 9.00 AM or even later). >.<

When my fingers start numbing, but only when I'm playing UT2k4 online. When I'm not playing, a backache makes itself present to remind me that staying infront of the comp for long periods of time is not healthy
Oh my, I'm on way too much.
Seisai, my fingers are to a point where i dont feel any pain since im playing GunZ a few times a day, quite honestly im caucasian and i aquired azn fingers while playing this game....yes im on too much, game iself is quite fun as you noticed they have "gunz" to "shoot" you with, sorta like the matrix with climbing walls and swords...anyway at one point my fingers would be cracking but strangeley that stopped...O_o, i take it its my hand saying its used to the abuse. that or i might expereince another "oh f@ck" moment verry soon
but i guess you guys do have a point everyting (well almost) is done on the computer from games to bills to other "stuffs". But it seems that some of us are the more dedicated fans eh?

I've been messing with computers since I was 3 (literally). Also, since I'm a Comp Sci. major and a gameaholic at that, I have my butt glued to the computer almost all the time now. I'm pretty used to all the typing that I do. I even have a laptop for when I need to either study/work on the fly. My friends and family keep telling me to take a break a lot too. During the weekends, I tend to play Final Fantasy XI, which is pretty time consuming as well.

YES, the sad thing is that I am so damn addicted that its not even funny anymore. Well I don't let it control me that much but so many of the things I do are dependant on this machine. I guess I don't exactly need to be on it 24/7 but I pay all my bills on this thing, ebay, email, school registration/class sign ups. Who knows anymore. Anyway, I think i Use it effectively, except when I watch youtube.com stuff... haha

Lol, yes! XD Sometimes when I make a mistake while writing something, my left hand automatically flashes out and jabs the table before me, the way I press CTRL+Z whenever I make a mistake on the comp. Thankfully, no one notices. XD
I usually limit myself to until nine in the evening on the computer, though sometimes I get to work up until 10 or even 11. *does a few calculations and blinks* ...7 hours? O_o I only just realized that. Dang.
Yea...and i always get a lecture about it at most points. Since i get on 4 a long long time once i turn on the computer, ...it's sooo addicting.
It's the summer holiday, I am on when I wake up till when I go to sleep. Of course I would love to get out but my parents restrict me to, so I guess it's alright. Yes there may be other things for me to do at home rather than to sit at my computer, but TV and music don't allow me to socially interact, which is bad for my health - then again, sitting at a computer all day long is also bad for my health.
I don't win either way. My parents force me off the computer at around 11-12. =D

Yes, i noticed that i'm too much in front of my computer but it can't be helped ...
It's a tool that i need for my studies but i admit that it's a reflex :
everytime i come home, after university or party, the first thing i do is turning on the computer ...
A few years ago, my computer broke up and it was so weird being a whole week without PC ...
:-)
Now, Pc is essential; it's like my watch :
if i forgot it, my day is really bad ;-)

These things are quite common these days since the internet is a mass media and source of load of information
and yes... i am either at school (btw, this year is my last year) or on my computer doing work or watching anime or plain reffing (been watching Eureka SeveN too much) the web.
during holidays when i go home from boarding at school i basically live off my 2 desktop and a laptop all day
and same here my parents go crazy espeically when i play 12 hours of WOW... -.-
but i do think this is totally normal in today's digital age
