I have listened to these guys for years now, started with The Moon & Antarctica, then I pretty much sucked up every album of theirs that I could find. This use to be the default bad we would listen to with my inventory job I had in college back in 2002.
My favorite songs all come off their "Good News for People Who Love Bad News" album.
Before you criticize someone...you should walk a mile in there shoes. that way when you do criticize them, you'll be a mile away and you'll have there shoes!

Yeah that's a good one considering it was the one that took them to the mainstream. Moon & Antarctica is still my favorite though, but I do often listen to that album as well.
I have their last 3 albums. Good News for People Who Love Bad News is their better albums.

Huge. Embarrassingly huge MM fan. Been listening since 1997 when I bought This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think about. I'm ad avid vinyl collector so if anyone has any old 7" Modest Mouse I'd be much obliged for a message :P
They're literally my favorite band of all time.
That said, Good News is a cool album for what it is, Isaac Brock set out to make a more concise, easier to absorb, album and he succeeded. That's why they are where they are today.

Spitting Venom is my favorite song from them. I like Dramamine too.
I've been listening to this band for awhile now. I'm glad to find more fans of this band. I love their new songs like Ocean Breathes Salty or Dashboard and their old stuff too such as the song Dramamine.
Dramamine is fantastic, but I think everyone is leaving out Convenient Parking and Cowboy Dan. Quick, go now and listen!
I listened 2 2 of their songs & they were okay I thought, even though all of my friends love them. Maybe I need to try out more of their songs b/c when I told my friends that it was bunch of screaming & banging noise they disagreed.
