If there are any Volta fans here (I'd be surprised if there are any), you probably already know that Octahedron (latest album) came out a few days ago. I'm still getting used to it as I've had to do with their previous albums. But upon first listen I felt as if they were combining the somewhat distant straight forwardness of Bedlam with the obscure deep end of Amputechture (which is my favorite). Teflon was an instant hit for me as was Halo of Nembutals.

But for those of you who haven't heard any Mars Volta, check out Deloused In The Comatorium, Frances The Mute or even the Tremulant EP for that matter and get yourself hooked.
