Well regardless them becoming the sanin, i think they all are almost as strong as the original sannin. I think sasuke would be the strongest right now as it stand since Naruto still doesn't have mastery over his rasen-shuriekn regardless of how strong it is, and he seems far slower than sasuke.

Plus sasuke took out deidara and orochimaru(even though he was weak) single handedly. Naruto beat Kaukzu single handed, but he was already weakened from fighting kakashi guys.

Anyways, those were my opinions from watching naruto and sasuke fight.

Oh yeah, that would be funny if naruto, sasuke and sakura would become sannin...
naruto serves under jiraiya
sasuke serves under orochimaru
sakura serves under tsunade
maybe 'serves' isnt the best way to put it but you get the idea...

If naruto, sakura, and sasuke would become sannin they would be like jiraiya, tsunade, and orochimaru =) it does make sense since each served under those sannins.

Isn't the author make that kind of obvious?
Haha jk, but if they would become sannin they probably be a stronger team
than the previous one, Sasuke is already almost at Orochimaru level (if not then stronger) Naruto almost kill Jiraiya and for Sakura isn't a lot of people says she probably will be a stronger ninja than Tsunade in the future?

It is definetly logical and argueable, and very apparent that they will be the next sannin. However, if you think about it a bit more broadly...what about the other great ninja of the village? Lee, Neji and Shikimaru, just to name a few, stand out as very capable ninja. The next generation of ninja might not be limited to only three "legendary sannin" in my opinion. How about "The Sannin Generation of Konoha?"

Well The Legendary Sannins, There is a reason why they are called that since they revealed it in the manga. Its not a ranking or anything like that as many people believe because they trained under the Third Hokage or anything like that. The reason is...

The reason why the Three Sannins are called that is because it was the aftermath of a battle with the Leaf and Rain shinobi. The battle was with the leader of the rain, Salamander Hanzou, Vs. Orichimaru, Tsunada, and Jiriaya *spelled their name wrong* . These three were the only ones who survived the battle against the great Hanzou who was known everywhere. Hanzou was the one who said this is Konoha's victory *guessin it was the Third Secret Ninja War* so he said to call themselves the Sannins in exchange for their lives. So i dont see how team 7 could be called that even though their mentors were originally the sannins.

There is no doubt in my mind that they are the next sannin. All of them have the same attitudes as their predecessors, i mean they act in the same way. Not to mention the fact that there abilities are very similar.

Lol there the new sannin sasuke can now summon the snake head master and naruto can summon gamabunta but sakura hmm never shown in the manga nor in anime she summon the slug. as for sasuke and naruto its true sasuke summon the snake when he fight against deidara which deidara self explode and sasuke summon the snake to cover him and the snake died sasuke whe nout from the mouth of the snake and sometimes sasuke turn into snake himself

Yeah, but when they become the sannin, the manga's gonna be over. It'll have to be at the very end of the series, otherwise it'd be weird.

look at sasuke, he can do lots of things with his chidori,
and sakura can control her charka impresively too...
(maybe sakura could even do rasengan better than naruto)
reminder: kakashi and tsunade were both stunned by sakura's ability to control her chakra and rasengan is all about controlling chakra.

The comparisons are a given, seeing as the image has been put forward very early in the manga even. Except for the fact that this time, Sasuke possibly wont defect in the same way as Orochimaru did

You could tell when the first few chapters were made. The pictures showed Sakura on a slug, Sauske on a snake and Naruto on a frog. O.0. The entire thing was planned from te begining for them to become the student of the sanin and probably surpass the sanin.

I believe so... cuz there must have been a reason why the author made the original sannin each take one student from team 7. I dont see any other reason but to signify that the new generation of sanin will be team 7. Naruto takes over Jiraiya's place, Sakura takes over Tsunade's place and Sasuke takes over Orochimauru.
