Naruto. Waste Of Time or Entertaining Comedy?
I feel it's a waste of time though. The pace is too slow for me, and it seems like another of those never-ending action anime out there. Instead, I buy the Naruto manga for reading pleasure. It's faster, and there's no/less fillers.

I agree, its a waste of time. I watch it cause I'm bored, its the fillers that killed the entire series, still fillers are part of an anime... But still after the Naruto x Sasuke fight, it was rather boring. Even now with the release of Shippuden, it was decent enough for my time, even now it takes half a episode for those boring ass conversations than actual fighting... Manga > Anime :D
Sometimes its a waste of time, well its most of the time but there are times when the anime gets serious. but i can't name out which part coz i'm kinda lazy, lol!

Well, some episodes are boring.. and i agree with deathangel, there are times when it gets serious.. and these times are when you can't take your eyes off the screen. like the fight scenes. yeah!
I also enjoy a bit of drama in a series, but Naruto can drag it on and on for about five or more episodes. The one thing about the series I dislike is their constant fillers in the series. The whole series is like that, same for Shippuuden then right now as well. I wished that they would cut some of those flashbacks and long drawn out scenes. That would make me happy. However, it's not a waste of time. I love the story-line, the action, the drama and the character designs - I just wish that the episodes didn't drag so much.
I agree with you Rinee. The Naruto anime and fillers 'are' a waist of time but the book isn't. I got sick of watching the Naruto anime after they stoped showing fillers of Hinata.

I´ve seen all the episodes so far, am downloading them every Friday when DB releases them, I agree though that most of the comedy aspect gets lost in Shipuuden. All of them are so serious and all about: I´m gonna bring Sasuke back no matter what really GETS annoying, what can we do though. And if there´s one thing that´s really bothering me about Naruto,it´s those flashbacks. They are everywhere. Just how many time have we seen Gaara and Naruto being mistreated and abandoned by every one? Don´t even wanna count this...

Sometimes i do agree about fillers in Naruto. But the rest is all okay, though it might take 4-12 episodes just to finish one battle. It's quite worth the wait anyway, it's thrilling and it has much more suspense than ever...especially the Shippuden one. I'm really looking forward to each episodes. It's not a waste of time, and about the fillers, i think they put some scenes of flashing backs so that watchers can truly understand about why is this and why is that...and maybe they just want to put all the watchers in suspense modeXD

Naruto is awesome. It's sometimes a good comedy, but it's also got it's serious moments, which I like.
Well for me shippuuden as been a waste of time. I was real happy when it first came on cause the regular naruto had two years of fillers 
. It was the worst thing that happen to me. When shippuuden came on i though no more fillers but i guess i was wrong. I mean does it take more than 10 episodes just to cover a cave and then fight a couple bad guys? Sometimes i just watch old naruto episodes for the good old times so right now for it is a waste of time but i hope they move the story faster, so for right now I'm reading the manga
