Sakura in Naruto Shippuuden
Hi!! Well, I start this topic because I think that is interesting the way Sakura evolve since Naruto where she was a little powerless ninja, always in the shadow of Naruto and Sasuke and compared only with Ino-chan; to the super powerfull and very amazing aprentice of Tsunade.
I think that this is a very cool change, because Sakura is one of my favorite characters and I dont like the way Sakura was acting in the previous series of Naruto. Always depending from other people and never fight by her own.
Because of that, for me is really cool watch her battle against Sasori, in this figth she act like the true heroine that she always want to be. I wonder how Ino will evolve aside Sakura.

Yeah, sakura unleashes her full ability against sasori and she has become kickass. naruto needs some new abilites if he wants to keep up with sakura and sasuke who both grew more than he did.
All i have to say is, wow, she is actually doing something for a change... most of the series, she didn't really do anything except be like, "sasuke, naruto, sasuke, naruto". Now, she's actually kicking some butt, excpet with the help of chiyobaa, i think she would've been pwned even before sasori came out of his shell if chiyo wasn't there...

I dunno if any has read the naruto manga but this is pretty much the only time Sakura gets alot of attention. Plus they had to give her some special skill since team 7 is suppose to be a replica of the 3 sanin. Sasuke wnet with Orochimaru, Sakura with Tsunade, and Naruto with Jiraya.

But didn't chiyo baa controls sakura in the beginning when they were dodging the needles... because i personally don't think sakura can move around that well on her own. She's more of the close range power character....and even if she got past hiruko, there were soo many scenes where sakura would've died if chiyobaa wasn't there, like the satetsu shigure, and the satetsu needle part...

True she had help but she said herself she voued to not just be in the way any more and what bout when she was fightin the 3rd kazakage chiyo-baa said that it was like sakura didnt even need her help
Well, first to all, thanks to all to respond this topic; I really like to know your opinion and point of view. I think that Sakura is getting stronger and stronger, and in the fight against Sasori, she was helped by Chiyo, but In one episode Sakure remember that the first priority of a medical ninja is tha capacity to avoid the opponet attacks, so Tsunade train her a lot in this point.
Also, like dravensend said, In this fight, chiyo said that if like Sakura is avoid the attacks by herself and dont need chiyo´s help so much.

Oh, she gets awesome after the time skip. An awesome fighter, and wicked strong. As Jaraiya said sometime "She's like a second Tsunade." (I think that's what he said...) And she is!
Sakura's time to shine in her fight against Sasori was long overdue. The fruits of her training under Tsunade really showcases itself. Not all of that fancy dodging is attributed to Chiyo-baa san's puppetry. This was shown when Sakura learnt the lesson about a medical ninja having to never be hit from Tsunade. And while it's true what mastalou02 says about this being the only bright spot for Sakura in the Shippuden arc, it will be inevitable that she gains a larger role in the future due to her medic-nin abilities (the importance of which has been brought up repeatedly in the anime and manga). Along with her wits, quick thinking and decision-making and great control of chakra, she still has plenty to offer.
I can foresee a collaborative battle with a reunited team 7 in the very distant future.

Yes... Sakura-chan, of course!! I agree that she's only a great short range attacker, however, that might've no use against long range enemies, she's still a good person alongside... besides her medical skills, reminding us of Tsunade-oba-chan is something vivid which reminds us of her... Her un-likable personality last Naruro season was because how i hated her for pinning repeatedly at Sasuke which was entirely not good for the audience... Still, though she's improved a great deal, there is something else that lacks within her... and by finding so, she might've been a really good ninja, even from the start... but now that she's gone way stronger up, it definitely changed my views about her... but perhaps she is a worthy character after all...

Sakura does rock! And hopefully she will only get better! But I still love Naruto more! :P
Yeah I really like Sakura now! She's grown a lot more powerful! She really impressed me and has improved incredibly! I didn't like her before because she was only shouting for Naruto and Sasuke and not fight a lot in battles... Now she's much more cool! 
At the beginning of the series she was pretty annoying and useless. I like in how she evolved to become a great fighter and asset to Team 7. Also there aren't a lot of good female fighters in the Naruto series.
