If you're caught up on the manga you would know naruto surprases pretty much everyone in the naruto world cept madara so far. pain was by far more powerful than sasuke and naruto beat pain so its pretty obvious

I don't see Naruto surpassing Sasuke becase he's always a step ahead of him. Sasuke has the sharingan which gives Sasuke unbelievable power while Naruto lacks any typer of power besides the kyuubi which he can't even control. Besides if Naruto and Sasuke were to fight he'll get trapped by a genjutsu and would never break from it.
Until the two really meet we will never know. They have got two different styles of Ninja fighting skills and different Masters teaching them different skills. And the other thing that makes them different is their attitude towards life.

Naruto needs more variety of techniques all he do is Shadow Clones and Rasengan it's boring to watch his fights . kyuubi transform is fun to watch but when he is normal state all he do shadow clones from Episode 1 it's way overused. and now i watch naruto only for other characters to see what jutsus they do and by that time i forget main hero naruto and his shadow clones ...

I think Naruto has to learn more techniques on defeating Sasuke and all so that when he defeats him, he can persuade Sasuke to go back to Konoha, successfully doing his promise to Sakura and finishing his goal..

Naruto beated pain just because of the kiyubi besides pain himself was lmost a rotten corpse wich jut controlls 5 dead bodies.
sasuke has the mangekyou Sharingan and his cursed seal also it looks like he has nother secret power becaue his charkra has gotten darker in the past feww chapters and he doesnt hesitate to kill others like before.
We have to see a one on one fight of those two but even so i would say Sasuke is stronger because one on one no one can defeat the sharingan because he can controll the kiyubi and supress his power but we can argue endlessly as long se there int a fight between them

Naruto sage mode has made him one of the strongest charectors in the naruto
sage mode has its disadvantages, but to be able to take out 6 of pains body is impressive.
if sasuke was t fight pain before his mangekyou, he would have dead meat.
but mangekyou gives him amatarasu, sasori, and tsukuyomi.
now we could put naruto and sasuke in the same level.

Well even if naruto is "weaker" than sasuke in terms of jutsu (well if you read the manga, sasuke is almost pawning everyone -- gets a beating from the raikage, i know but he cuts his arm anyway)

Well after reading the latest chapter, it is apparent that neither Sasuke nor Naruto have reached their fullest potential yet, that's simply because they are not fully grown yet.
You cannot expect from adolescent Ninjas to take on fully grown and experienced Kages and fight on par with them. I think those two rivals are approximately 15 or 16 years old, no more. So I wouldn't be surprised to see another time skip, as these kinds of rivalries can go on forever as they are about to reach their fullest potential.
Sasuke new Master, none other than Uchiha Madara himself, will make sure that Sasuke won't be pummeled like in the latest chapter ever again. And he's the one who gave Uchiha Sasuke a reason to take revenge...
