How long did you watch anime, when and how you start
Everyone of us is watching it. Ones started earlier others later but how old were you when you saw anime at the first time and how it happens. Circumstances are different or mayby they have something common. How long are you watching anime so far. Why it's giving you so much enjoyment
I really started around age 9. But it was dubbed Ronin Warriors on UPN44 over the summer. Still counts though. SciFi channel used to show some rare/old stuff late at night (sat, 12am), but not any more. I used to record those for a couple years.
I think i started watching anime when i was around 10? there were kids tv shows on the channels in the morning, then i started to watch a few of the series. i began to enjoy it, and started research about it....and now i have learnt alot about anime....
i really enjoy watching anime because.....probably the plots and the character development! i love series with good graphics and music.....i really can pinpoint why i really like anime. :D

Hmm...probably six or even younger. I've been exposed to anime since I was very young. Started watching because the tv was showing Doraemon (it's a classic). It's been about 15 years or so since I've started watching anime.
Anime's just great. From the drawings, to the plots, and the absolutely fabulous voices. Nothing can take anime away from me!

I started watching anime when I was in high school, when a friend of mine lent me his VHS Box of Neon Genesis Evangelion. That's what dragged me in anime. I guess that's not very original, as a lot of people must have first watched Evangelion too...
I still remember when my first day caught with anime,in 2004,it is because I first time enjoyed one anime called Rave Master at AXN in Japanese....at first,Im attracted with the seiyuu voices,really different compared with my local seiyuu..they sure have some spirit when acting the characters like it is their owns.Plus Rave Master suits my taste...so I decided to collect it.I feel some kind of feeling when my first time entering the anime stores founded by my frenz...feel like in heaven...and so.....the conclusion is...I really love ANIME!!!Maybe it is my destiny to make anime as part of my hobby,really appreaciate it!

I was three or four when I started watching anime. I think it was Sailor Moon that got me started because I remember watching it on tv but never remembering what channel or what time it was on. Or it could have been DragonBall because my brothers would watch it and I would watch it with them.
I guess the first anime i saw was the swedish dub of pokémon or something when i was very young. But i havent been watching anime "seriously" for long. I think it has been 7-8 months or so, got hooked with Naruto.

Started when I was about 7 and have continued on ever since. I really like anime... especially D.N.Angel,Maburaho,and Shuffle.
Lol, i started 3 years ago, that time, in the beginning of theyear, i was still thinking that animes are for kids, but then my bro wanted me to try naruto at least, yup i tried, i loved it (but due to the freaking fillers, i stop watching it, just waiting for it to start 2nd season), hmm, so i started watching animes, animes are just amazing...lol, yeah so, basically, now i really think that animes do deserve for these fans, (aparrently, it has billions~~~* of fans), for now, if i reallylike an anime, i would really watch it non stop, even if i am sleepy, i wont sleep, just cant sleep lol, addictive~~~*

I started to watch it when I was around 5 or 6 I suppose when I still had the Sci-Fi channel and they showed some awesome anime on weekend mornings,I remember watching Lily C.A.T. and Robot Carnival and loving all of it!Ever since I've absolutely adored it ^^
I've been watching since I was somewhere around the age of 10. So that would be four years. I enjoy watching anime because of the emotion, animation, drama, romance, action, and suspense that is very hard to find in the US that is even similar to it.
How many American cartoons can you find that even close to anime series like Gundam SEED, SEED Destiny, Air, Mai Hime, Bleach, or Naruto? I think not. Most American cartoons are usually based on either action or comedy (that is pretty stupid somtimes). So compared to most American cartoons and some movies, I would much more prefer anime over them.

Hmmm, maybe for like 6 years or so. I think since late 99' or early 00'
