Did you paint it or did you put an paint effect over the orignal image?

Paint or effect? ... And from wich anime/manga/serie is it from anyway (cant realy see) but it looks good ^^

This was made with some manipulations and Effects in PhotoShop. And what software do you usualy use for creation of your artworks. I'm a newcomer and don't really a professional painter. This is more likely a hobby to me, but still...

Are there any downloadable PDF manual to Anime painting on PC ?

If you like Digital Painting then i highly recomend "Opencanvas" you can find it and download the trial program from this website: http://www.portalgraphics.net/en/

You can find tuturials and how to paint digitaly their and there are some "event" files you can download, in that you can see how proffesionals paint their amazimng work (not them selves of course but the things that happen in the painting program)

Photoshop is more on effects in my point of view so i personaly us Open canvas ... And good luck ^^
