I want that wall to be simple but I feel that have to do something with the background, it is too boring. However, I have no idea what should I do with it.

Do you have any other scans to add to the background?
I have an idea of putting the other scans of these two characters, make it like a photo, and add it to the background. Hope you will like this idea..

The photo idea is pretty much whored out >_>
Change the text, it's simply doesn't fit. You can make the bg colorful and abstract, type various funny quotes in different fonts.
