The Worst Thing Happened While Playing A Game
I was wondering how many people ever experienced things like: you fix something to cook on the stove and you go and play a game while its on the stove. You are so hooked that you forget about the food and your kitchen catches on fire or something of the sort. If you have any outrageous stories regarding towards you playing the video game and something bad happens.

Forgetting that I was cooking is one of them ... but the worst was playing 6-8 straight hours (forgot which game exactly but it was an RPG). I was leveling up and my block lost power for like 10seconds which obviously turned everything off losing my file and having to redo it is just the worst. I remember I was so mad ... I threw my Playstation controller so hard it broke.
I was training my units in the arena in FE7. I was down to hector, the strongest character in FE. he was about 2 levels away from being Level 20 so I could finish the chapter. he goes up against a pirate and dies on me. Basically, I had to redo all the training all over again.

Play Baldors Gate for 3 hours strait on a GBA emulator and I accidentally save over the only slot I had save after I was dead... Yes 3 hours wasted, never play the game again.
HAHA, I never felt it. But my sister have!
While she played Harvest Moon, after one month, she decided to save it!
While saving, the electric is out!
And, while played it again, the save data was corrupted!
Hahahahaha, that was pain!

Well.. It was about 6-7 years ago(?) when there was a big "mania" about pokemon, so i had to have it to :) i was playing it for hours, saving it etc.. i managed to catch even all pokemons(150 lol) by trading with other people.. leveled 6 of them up to level 100.. and what could happen in this situation.. my younger cousin came, started new game and resaved my slot.. heh.. after that only dust was falling on the gameboy and it is like that till today.. :D

Ah, a power failure. When i shifted to a god forsaken country, power failures were just too frequent. When i lost my progress in FFX for the upteenth time, i finally decided to set up a UPS unit to handle such failures. Problem solved!
I have burned soo many dishes while playing mmorpgs... *sigh* and i consider myself a really competent cook. This one time, i left a hotdog in my microwave and forgot about it (i almost never use the microwave) and came back like a week later to find something resembling a slim jim... ewww *shudders*

...during my recent semester break, i got hooked up on grandia3 on my fav ps2...everynite i started playing at midnite when theres nothing left to watch (unless there's a soccer match)...until dawn...then one midnite i played until i didnt realize i was playing in my sleep~!!...i don't remember that ive fought monsters and leveled up...geez...i wonder this is worst than sleep walking~!!...
Wow......you've been playing in your sleep......that's cool.........you should do that often as you wont feel the pressure of leveling up.......
a bad experience of gaming.....ive had once just like lusanew..............been playing pokemon and suddenly my save data had been replace by someone.........at that time........i started hating pokemon.......
then few years later ive been hooked to ff8 on playstation............ive done quite a progress in the game........then theres this mission where my team is divided by two.........theres this sniper guy who took rinoa and some other girl with him and said to meet where i dont remeber.........but its obvious that i should get into a train.........yet my cheapskate instinct tell me just to travel there by foot.......and from that moment........i lost my track cuz i dont know where to go........left it unfinish............then hated ff games too......and the whole rpg gaming type.........

Well, power failure or things like that often happens to me, but it's not really a problem since i have my motto :
"save whenever you can, you want to, and you need to!"
Lost 30 minutes of gameplay is normal.
But this is the worst. I played Kingdom Hearts 2 with 100% completion. I got some problem with my memcard slot. So it's like disconnected while i was saving the game. The save file was corrupted, but since i'm still in the game, i managed to overwrite and save the corrupted file.
The next day, i went to my PS2 browser, cheked the memcard, and i found a corrupted data file. I deleted it without realizing that the KH2 save file... gone!
Yeah, you know it... I deleted my 100% completed KH2 final save. I'm glad i have beat this game 3 times.

Power failures, leaving stuff on the stove, playing Legend of Zelda for hours straight w/o saving then your stupid brother turns it off to play Super Mario Sunshine... Yupp! It's happened to me!
I was playing sneakily when my parents caught me! haha I got scolded in the middle of the night!
I got one crazy experience. My PS2 is getting old, but when I played guilty gear xx I show no mercy^^. After hours of playing I turned the PS2 off, but after that it can't read any disc anymore T_T.
When i try to through resident evil reborth without saving and waste 2 hours and killed by hunter in the half of the game -___-
