Anyone's taking martial arts?

For me, I'm currently taking a northern style of kung fu called Long Fist. I like the martial art because it's simplistic and battle effective.
I used to take Tai Kwon Do a few years ago. I got up to a third degree green belt before I quit.
I really just did it for the exercise and as a hobby.

I also did Taikwondo. I did it for three years. I just stopped last years since I was moving around and didn't have time to go to class. I'm 3 or 4 degrees away from my blackbelt.
I did karate when I was little. I think I was 8 years old.....anyways, it was fun.
I did karate once.
Sensei said I has the flexibility and agility, but I punch like a girl...
And I'm like: "I AM A GIRL!"
I would to start studying bojutsu.
You know, Donatello.

Chin Woo Association, huh? Yeah, I've heard about that. Martial Arts were supposed to be a means of self defense, but nowadays, some martial arts (especially modern kung fu) has become almost dance-like. Shifu Adam Hsu (the founder of my school) mentions he wants to keep kung fu traditional and battle effective.
By the way, what style of taichi do you practice?

I took Traditional Shaolin Gungfu both northern and southern for 5 years. And then i went to college and stopped. I'm so out of shape now. XD

So in other words it's military martial arts right?
I did 5 years of Taekwondo with added training in Hapkido and Kung Fu. I did it to keep fit as well, but now that I have stopped for 5 years, I've gotten lazy and undisciplined. Really should get back into it again.
