Samurai Champloo Fuu Wall

Hey guys, im new here.
anyways. this is a paper i made i use on my comp.
its kinda plain, but i designed it for me.
im not sure about content when submitting, so im just post it here.
(mods if it is to risque, let me know imeditly and ill edit it down)
nothing to great, i drew the focal fuu, the bg is just some jpeg from the series(dont really like its look)
the theme is when fuu was painted, so i went for a soft, delicate,simple kinda style.
i think i added all the needed sig stuff to it.
anyways,
tell me what you think.
if it shows to much for this site.
and always, any improvments needed, or would liek to see done.

Misc note: to post walls, i think it will be easier to use the [url] tag...
lol if you think that's risque, you havent seen anything yet ;)
the scan is very clean and looks quite nice...good job. however, if you notice the hair, there are brown areas outside of the black lines...u dont want that
get rid of the border around....and possibly make your sig at the bottom smaller (so the taskbar can cover it)
and is the blurry face to the left supposed to be a reflection? it doesn't look like it, but you could try and make it look like a mirror reflection of her...
anyways, the pic so far looks pretty good...keep at it :)

Ok ok.

yeah the white was acully a style thing i made, not the border its self.
but i took it off.
to the left is not a reflextion..i could do that..but blah i dont want to re draw right now, but i love that idea!!

Hey you dont have to redraw...use photoshop filters (aka l337 skillz for lazy people =P) ... some blurs after duplicating the layers (then you can use edit>transform to flip it, skew it)....change blending...play with it...ill try and see if i can find a tut for that maybe...
and another thing...the black vector lines to the right side of the face are much heavier than the lines on the right side...u may want to re-trace the left side of the face to make it look equal...

i think maybe the sholder? gets lost in teh black.
i used flash to ink her out, so i know all lines should be even
prob be best to do somthing else though . i reall like the idea and a reflection

I re worked it.
got rid of the jpegs and decided to add more orignal drawn fuu..
so far this is about what i got.
i think ima call it in for this one, i like it as my desk top wall, but dunno..
mayeb ill trow the 2 fuu's i drew up in the scraps? let others see if they want it.
or not.

Well, you could try to make the outlines of the sketch a little less rough, so that they can blend better with the background. Also, try making the lotus flowers in the corners a little less obvious, because they tend to distract the attention from the images that should be the main focus of the wallpaper. And finally... I don't know if the last version isn't a bit too suggestive... but then again, I think that's for the moderators to decide. Anywayz, I like your wallpaper. Good luck, and I hope you'll be posting in the gallery soon ;)
I think you should get rid of the lilies because they don't really fit

Yeah i was debating the lotus flowers back and forth..but over all they do stand out way to much.

no i dont use the pen tool, i draw them in flash, then next clean them up using the pencil. color in flash usaly also.
uhh actully im not going to bother with submmiting this, i just dont feel it, was a good idea at one point, now..meh.

Quoth the guide:
"If you would like to submit any vectors or re-cg's we would be happy to accept them into the scan gallery."
You'll want to read up the Vectors and Re-CGs and the Scans sections of the guide first, to make sure you fulfil the requirements laid out there.
