[suggestion] Flooding detected?
1 Page: [ 1 ]
When I hang around the forums, I usually have multiple threads open in different tabs. I type fast, so I can make several [consistent] posts in a short amount of time. However, after I post once, I have to wait "at least 2 minutes" before posting again... [I get the "Flood detected" notification screen]. And that's a little frustrating.
It's not my place to question the usefulness of this feature, but maybe you could at least reduce the time from 2 minutes to 1 minute at least? *puppy eyes*

No. Its to prevent spammers and is one of the few features that manages to slow them down.
I think we could make it ease up a little on established members in the next version, that might be a good solution to this.
Thank you :) By "established member", you mean people whose accounts are older than, say, X months? Or people with more than X posts / papers / wallpapers or scans submitted?
Anyway, good luck and eagerly awaiting the new version then! xD

I suppose a system that determines through your quality of posts would be forgiving.
Though... that may lead to said established members to use that advantage posting more than necessary.

I would propose that the older your account is and the more posts you have would affect the speed of which you can post again, given that a spammer will most likely be caught trying to spam before that length of time can be shortened
