Wow, this is done very well. The background perfectly matches Yuffie. That certain shade of blue is easy on the eyes, not to where it's too bright nor too dark. Although, it's quite an odd size, it's still fairly well. Simply wonderful.

Yet another awesome piece of artwork from ~Carol. The artwork and color are both great, the only problem with this piece are the light and shadows, they aren't consistent throughout the whole drawing. You've got your main light source in the top left of the picture, yet you have some places where there is light hitting from the right side of the picture.
My favorite part about your artwork is your brushwork. Too many inexperienced photoshop artists use soft brushes which are better suited for photography touchups and give their stuff an overly airbrushed look. Your use of a hard brush really helps the artwork pop off the page (well computer screen in this instance).

Well, I don't know about the light and shadows, but as usual, great work on the
colouring. Though I think there's still more improvement to be done for facial
expressions and hands.

As usual great work:). You definitely are gifted. But now, I dunno, for some reason I can't really tell what kind of expression Yuffie has on her face there. Its her eyes, I can't tell if she's all psyched up and energetic or just plain mad...? Another thing, her hair seems to look a bit too dark. If it was a bit shinier I think it would look better. But hey its just my opinion, your the artist here =P

Oh wow, I really love your style! Kind of gives me inspiration to get out of my huge artist block :] Yuffie's one of my favorite girl characters in that game, so I'm a tad biased in my comments. However, I do love your style and your CGing technique. What program do you use?
