Dir en grey
For everyone who knows and loves Dir en grey...their new album comes out February 7, 2007! The album is entitled "The Marrow of a Bone" with 13 tracks. From their released single "Aggitated Screams of Maggots", I'm sure this will rock like all of their other albums!
I have every album so far and everytime I'm amazed! What do you guys think of them?

I've heard of them. I've seen pictures and they look REALLY wierd. But I've also heard they sound fantastic. I have no idea what genre, but I really want to listen to them. Where can I find them, and what genre are they?
Oh yeah they rock, and their new album will too I`m sure.
Though they should try to improve there ingrish (with them I mean kyo) because it took me a while to get used to the english used in clever sleazoid ><
And here is an youtube link to my fave song.

I love Dir en grey, it's amazing *O*, but their new single i don't like it T_____T, i don't now, i listened too much "commercial" (i dislike it <.<).
Youtube is a great place to see their videos. I love the fact that they look weird...although...in public they dress like everyone else. I find their scarrrrry onstage dress completely hot and their theatrics amazing. My favorite ablums so far are Gauze and Withering to Death which is two different albums for them. I'm really excited and I'm jumping for joy at the prospect of the new album.
Dir en grey is pretty good.
I've been listening to them for some time now, but I'm ready for some new music.

Withering to Death is really great...but I love all they're goodies! From listening the the newest single, The Marrow of a Bone will sound a lot like the previous album.

I`m kinda hoping for that, withering to death realy got me into dir en grey and the other albums dont apeal to me as much. But there still good.
I have all of their albums as well. I really like their old stuff. The new stuff is kind of..."okay". I went to their concert in LA when they were debuting in America and it was a pretty cool concert. The only thing was that they hadn't dressed up in their costumes >___<
They're touring around America right now and I'm soo mad because they're coming back to LA in February! I had no money to get tickets, so I'm not going...
I don't really like their "Aggitated Screams of Maggots" single. That song's not that great. However, I do like their other new single "Ryoujoku no Ame". That song sounds like their old stuff with updated sounds haha
I think one of their best songs was "Cage".
So a question for all of you guys:
When did you start listening to Dir en Grey?
I started listening to Dir en Grey in my Freshman year of highschool, which was four years ago. A friend of mine exposed me to them XD That's when I started listening to something other than J-pop. Now, I'm a huge fan of J-rock and J-punk! I've sort of gotten out of the "Visual Kei only" phase. I'm open to everything now :]
So Dir en Grey was the first J-rock band that I've ever heard.

I didn't start listening to them until...hmm...It's been about a year now. My favorite albums are Withering to Death and GAUZE. The singles I've heard from the newest upcoming release are good, but not as good as others. But regardless of that, I'll always continue to listen to them.
I wish I could go to a concert so bad! But I'm stuck here on the East Coast (US) in the most boring state ever! Hopefully they'll come to Atlanta and I can afford it! I would do anything for those guys! ^^...because I'm in love! (pretends to kissy kissy on Kyo)
The costumes would be fun, but from what I've seen of them recently in video's and stuff, they seem to have gotten away from the visual bit. But, if I could see some nakie chest...who needs costumes, ne?
Anyways, Kyo's voice is amazing. The band is amazing. And I'll always love 'em! I'm die hard all the way!

I've been listening to them for a month or so, and so far I like 'em quite a bit.
Their music is quite strange. The vocals can be all wacky sometimes, fairly decent the next, then they go to sounding like a girl, then random Death growl out of nowhere. Their guitars are pretty good too. Some riffs sound like they could be right at home on a Rage Against The Machine, Nirvana, or Red Hot Chili Peppers album, then the next song they go pretty heavy and get sorta technical at points.

February is right around the corner! I'm gettin' all anxious and stuff! I've been listening to Kisou lately and I must say, tracks 4 and 8 are definitely my favorites on there. I always turn my music up way loud while I'm driving around on campus...I get lots of weird looks...Oh well...I just like sharing my joy! But I wish February would get here sooner!
Looking forward to seeing how consistent they are in their sound on the new album in comparison to the previous ones :)
