Wow, very cool looking character.
He kind of has that cool factor which would be very appealing to guys and also a bit of that bishi factor which will be very appealing to girls.
I look at this drawing and honestly believe that this character has already been created and in an anime or videogame because he looks just plain awesome!
I have no need to critique your artwork because you truly know what you're doing.

OOO! This one's more the younger cuter companion who would sometimes get into trouble and rely on Eliah, but at the same time be very determined to do his best. Okay that might be a bit cliche but that's how I see him right now.
The little kid who you don't want to annoy otherwise you're not going to hear the end of it (hmm that sounds kind of like me, lol)
I love your art! It's like the perfect balance of cuteness and coolness which is always great. I'm just coming up a story for these characters and will just add to it as you make more characters. And yes I do write stories, which have gotten nothing but positive feedback.

By chance can you help me out? I'm not very good when it comes to drawing weapons and I just need to draw a staff for my character. You think you could make a quick sketch for me? I'll send you the picture.

Let's see, Finn would have the be the guy who really enjoys the outdoors, the very playful one who may be a bit too playful sometimes, in which he might get on Ash's nerves from time to time.

I'm pretty good at drawing girls, it's just I find guys more challenging. Plus, everyone does girls and I like to be distinct :P.
Eliah - 18? Well, now that I look at it again, he does look 18. But Ash does look like a little kid, not with the head but with the eyes. Finn, I suspected that he was younger, but I wasn't sure.

I prefer versitile since that's how my character is and a weapon that looks like it belongs in RPGs like Tales of Symphonia, Grandia, and Dragon Warrior. The old age fantasy, not futuristic. Thanks!! It's a staff and he fights with it like Kilik does ^_^

Ooo! These are awesome also! I still love the other three more but both of these are still great.
Fortus is obviously the big guy who'll be like a big brother to one of the characters but a total jerk to another, lol.
Mayuki's the girl who seems innocent and sweet, but she's actually a reckless girl and tries to get out every night to enjoy herself ^_^

Wow you just keep pumping these characters out. Your really good, I must ask where do you get the inspiration for all these.. If you feel like sharing cause I find it hard to get inspired sometimes.

For me, I usually start with the main character, and from him I create characters that would further suppliment him in the story in some way. I usually give my original characters part of my personality and sometimes I'd base them off of someone I know and maybe alter their personality a bit.
That's it! Within maybe a week or two, I'm going to start spitting out my original characters for my manga project (that I started over a year ago and already went through 5 designs of the characters).
These will be my 6th design of them, *sigh* but I'm going to make sure they're perfect so I can stick with them.
Well, bit hard to say how i get my ideas... because they just come to me.. ^^"
i read a lot of manga, play alot of fantasy RPGs and such... so many of my characters were inspired by them... which isnt a good thing in terms of originality, thats why im tryin to develop a more original style.
for example a recent game i have been playing was Yggdra Union.. and this piece was inspired by the game art. (not one of my characters just some random.
and here's the main character of my manga! Cirrus Lightfoot!
i tend to just start drawing random characters... and when i get sparks of idea i just add them onto my character... until it becomes a loaded heap of clothes hair accessories etc... then i start removing/tweaking parts of the character until i am satisfied...
mind you none of the above characters are completely finalized... i get bored really easily and might decide to change them... =="
but thats all the MAIN main characters up... now its just the random characters in the manga to go ^^
