I'm really shocked after I read chapter 97 of fruba 0_0!!
did you see the last page of the chapter ??
it was the biggest shock ever!

did anyone imagine that akito would turn out to be a girl??!
plz tell me .. did anyone read this chapter?

Akito is a girl - That explains everything why she wants all the guys around her and kick all the girls away. That is selfish. I hate when the anime didn't tell you a lot details and have to read the manga to understand.

Ha ha ha. Spoilers. Ha. My friend already spoiled everything for me. That's okay. I couldn't find scanlations further than chapter 91 anywhere so I might as well listen to spoilers.

I remember the first time I heard that. I was very surprised to say the least. I remember laughing and simutaneously going "that can't be possible!". Everyone refers to Akito as "he" too...

Yaaaah, I found out about that a long time ago ^^ It's not really so surprising if you think about how she treats the Sohma family. She pretty much ignores the girls and obsesses over the boys.

So it is true? I havn't read the chapter yet, but everyone is talking about it. I guess the real shock will come when I finally read it. It does explain his... er her... it's actions, but its still hard to grasp! I'm sure all Akito female fans were heartbroken. Im not one. I HATES him... her... it. Oh dear...^^;;

Well I was also shocked! I mean when I thought she was a he, he was one of my fav characters. Maybe that's what kept me from seeing the truth. Because, yeah there are loads of clues... but I never imagined! oh well, I'll just have to change my fav character :(

Haha. I heard this long ago, which was why i went into shock and decided never EVER to read furuba EVER AGAIN! However, interesting thing is that recently, i tentatively read Furuba from where i left off and instantly i was drawn in again. So i got over the Akito thingy and even the Akito/Shigure thingy. I mean dots. what is there in akito. okay, so i pity her a little... like this much *holds finger a milimetre apart* especially when kureno was released from the curse but that's about it hahas.

It kinda surprised me when I was spoiled in some forum or other, so when I was reading the manga I was wondering, 'when are they going to show Akito is a she~~~?' Ahh. And thanks for reminding me to look up recent furuba chapters~ <3 emoticon

Well it was a real shock for me too..not when I read it because I had learnt about it while surffing the net.. -___-UU
I shouldnt go to pages and read that kind of stuff..it spoils everything really...U_U But how the hell am I going to hold my curiosity if there's a hure sign reading: SPOILER!!!
I cannot avoid it really ^_^UU
But goign back to Furuba...as many have already said, this explains many things, doesn't it? I first I just thought Akito was well...simply attracted to men...homosexuality is a recurrent theme in manga after all...U_U
