After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Well THIS is another classic in the hisory of Japanese Animation... Needless to say this Anime and Manga had lots of Morals, conflicts, suspenseful Action and tragic, dramatic moments,... and a little bit of comedy...

Lol
I love kenshin so much (especially the oro parts)
I really like the anime. It's one of the better ones for older animes. The plot is pretty straightforward. I was kinda disappointed with the ending, but I can't expect it to be perfect. The OVA was okay I suppose. I like that they explained the scar on Kenshin's cheek, but I didn't understand what disease he and Kaoru had. The animation style was different, but I think I would have prefered if it were the same as the series.

Loved this anime, heck this was the series that got me hooked on j-culture... It had really good plot, but it was seriously lacking it during the end though. The OVA's are great and really fitting to the theme. I wish that they could animate Kenji and we'll watch him continue the Himura legacy Shinta has left him with...

Rurouni Kenshin was simply a Masterpiece of Animation and Manga in depth of each of the main Characters... And as I said many many times,... The story emphazises the point of view of the "so called" villains like Shishio Makoto, Aoshi Shinomori, Seta Sojiro. We learn a lot about their past and especially the reasons why they became what they are today and we learn about,... why they have their believes and stick to them, WHY those vicious Characters try to bring through their believe, no matter the cost.

Twisted and complex is the developing of the story up to the end of the Kyoto Arc.

The viewer who is competent with Anime-Culture and viewers who don't necessarily need an understanding of Anime-Culture, when those pay close attention, they are indirectly and without further notice confronted with the questions:

Is that Villain really Evil because he is Evil,... or is it rather the belief makes this villain evil??

Is there any right or wrong in either Kenshin's principles or in Shishio's principles?

LOL, that's interest way too look at it.

It's sad to say this, but our world is made out of those two principles: Kenshin's principles and Shishio's principles (mostly Shishio's principles).

That's why, Kenshin said that it's not for us to judge, who's right or wrong. Let the next generation deside who's right and wrong.

Yeah, until Kyoto was good, but after Kyoto was.... (speachless)

Haha, yeah. I do like newer animes, but I'm not just going to judge old ones as a general group and declare them as all being bad. Although, Rurouni Kenshin is the main reason I even have that idea. When I was a kid, I used to watch Sailor Moon and thought it was awesome, but Rurouni Kenshin is so much better and more entertaining. I still love it. I don't know anywhere I can download it though because all of the file types aren't things I can play. I want to watch that one filler episode with tons of oros and this artist studying western art, trying to draw a masterpiece using kaoru.

What a coincidence it changed my life as well!
It is masterpiece of anime! I love the charakter of Kenshin. He showed me the way that should give me happyness. Yes! He is so great that i'm not even able to describe it.
I also liked Seta Sojiro and Kaoru. The world in Rurouni is so different from ours but it is very similiar too.
The OAV's was the greatest (in my opinion) from the whole series. It were bloody and tragic but beautyfull. The path that Kenshin choosed... And then when... I memorise "Oro!" I almost cry.

I started watching anime when i was a kid, with sailor moon, but then i spent a couples of years without watching anythind, and Rurouni Kenshin was the anime that i started to watch aafter so many years without having any anime to follow!!
I'm obsesed with Rurouni Kenshin, is my favourite manga, and my favourite character is, wll, they're a couples :P : Kenshin, Shishio, Kamatari, Enishi, and of course, one of the love of my life: Saito!!

But Kenshin is so cute and funny with his ORO?? thing, jajaja, watch at my signature:P
I thing that the best of Rurouni Kenshin is all the Shishio figth, and the OVAs are trully awesome!!
Rurouni Kenshin will be my favourite anime till the end of my days!

*echoes everyone's sentiments* 8)E emoticon

Everything about it was just brilliant- characters, setting, plot, themes.

Bar none, one of the best storylines ever. For those who were disappointed with the anime after the Kyoto arc really need to read the manga. The 2nd OVA kind of misses the mark for me (the 1st was excellent though) with regards to its focus on the relationship between Kenshin and Kaoru (particularly after Enishi) instead of all the great fights. That would probably go down as one of the greatest story arcs not to make it to anime (though villains were less memorable than the juppongatana).

Rurouni Kenshin was the first anime I was ever willing to purchase, and is to this day one of my favorites. The show flows quite well and is a good mix of comedy, drama, action, romance and moralitry. If you like Kenshin, then you'd probably like Vash from Trigun, they are really similar in personality and behavior. I have the Kenshin OVAs, but have yet to watch them. From what I hear, though, they are pretty good.

I agree with everyone's personal opinions.
Rurouni Kenshin was the second jap. animation series i viewed and it took my breath away.
<3 emoticon. I couldn't believe my eyes.At such amazing fighting sequences. When Kenshin fought the bad guys, it was great. I loved the OVA's. I cried when Kenshin died like for like days on end p(T_T)q emoticon . It was horrible. But say what.Everything that has a beginnig has an end i guess. I loved how they touched on the origin of Kenshin's fatal X-shaped scar as well.
I just wish they could also animate his son Kenji. To carry on his legacy of Hiten-mitsirugi.
You know i still didn't quite found out what was the disease they got (o_o) emoticon
I always thought it was Shishio's doing. When he bit Kenshin in the series.
But maybe it was just when Kenshin went to war. I guess.

Oh Kenshin Himura how you captivatd my heart soo <3 emoticon |(C_C)| emoticon |(VcV)| emoticon

You are surely missed by many. /(-_-)/~ emoticon

The manga's better. And I refused to watch the latest Kenshin OVA because, well...continue any story and EVERYONE dies anyway.
