I thought this anime was great. Everything from begining to end was executed wonderful. There is no doubt that light's impact in the world will stay for generations to come. I don't think Near was as good as L though but someone had to stop Light now that L was gone. What happend to Misa Misa at the end did she end up dying or something.
I liked it
Subtly crude, with plot twists, and a different perspective of the classical battle between good and evil. I like this kind of stories when the main character is the bad guy, but apparently is not that bad, but in the end he pays.
Death note's morality reminded me another series with similar good-evil nature perspective, Code Geass.

I really liked the unique story in this. Where the opposing sides were always right next to each other. The ending had a very interesting twist. The whole theme or feeling of the anime as it went on was really cool. I would definitely recommend this anime to people. I just loved it lol.

Death Note is so very good but I was enjoyed to read it until L was dead but I still read it until final chapter. Overall is still very good. Anime version is also good except ending, which is different compare to manga version. I don't really like it though.
I also like the opening and ending themes of this anime, specially the heavy metal one (what's up)

All the stuff after that is merely a repetition of all the beginning. The very end is better but the anime change it a bit and it was a very bad idea.
